Terrible
There are no fairways, the grass in the fairway is 6-8 inches tall. Greens had tractor tire marks in every one of them. Bunkers had grass growing in them. Don’t play here it’s a terrible waste of time!
Good Value for the Money
Bow Creek is basically a neighborhood golf course that was modified back in the 1990’s to address some drainage problems in the area. Those changes made some of the holes a bit cramped with additional par 3’s, but even so it is a fun course and has it’s challenges. With reasonable green fees, it’s a nice surprise for many and while I hadn’t played there in a couple of years, it was nice to play it again. Worth your time to try it.

getting near the end
it's apparent that due to the closing they are doing nothing more than cutting the grass in the fairways. the greens were chopped up but at least they were watered to keep playable. been playing here since 1982 and i's tough to see. fixed plenty of ball marks today that were not mine

Family Friendly
The greens were well maintained but the fairways are horrendous. The course is undergoing some changes so there were crews cutting trees down and heavy equipment operators working while players played through. Most of the fairways seemed like you were playing in a dirt field. The layout can be confusing as the scorecard hole designs are not accurate. This is a great course for beginners looking to play at a cheap rate with no daunting hole designs, but I would not recommend it for others.

Poor conditions and no food in clubhouse
The course is overrun with tree roots and large areas of no grass where you would expect there to be. Also, there was no one working in the clubhouse to make any hot food. I would spend an extra $10 and go somewhere else. This isn’t even worth your time investment.

Great value
Greens were better than expected.. fairways were spotty, just play “winter rules “ and it’s fine.
Please dont close
Had a great time playing this course for the first time in years. It would be a shame to close with all the improvements that have taken place.
