Williamsburg National Golf Club - Jamestown Course

Compared to Other courses I have played in the area this course is in great shape. Greens and fairways are beautiful. Love playing it.

Unfortunately with all the rain lately it was cart path only...only negative comment I have. Venue.

Friendly staff and great course. My wife and I were paired with two other gentlemen , and we had a wonderful round of golf. I can’t wait to return to play again.

Course was in good condition. Very interesting and challenging. We were very surprised that the golf course allowed Politics in the mix. It appeared that a political rally were taken place on the property. Golfing and politics don’t blend.

At this time I wouldn’t recommend this course to a friend.

Visiting from Chicago. Course had that great colonial vibe. Was in great shape. Staff was very friendly. Finished 18 with a partner in under 3 hours. Can’t wait to play Yorktown course next time I’m in town. And will play this again

Course was in great shape. Open landing areas off the tee. Challenging approach shots on many holes. Would definitely play again. Staff very friendly. Overall a great experience

Very wide and forgiving. Has about 3 holes that require a lot of carry on the tee shots. Course well kept and in plush condition. Management needs to better monitor pace of play and make sure people are moving along! We saw no one doing this, and unfortunately my wife and I were victims. Other areas - we have eaten twice at their restaurant - excellent service and food, and @ reasonable prices. People in their golf shop are very pleasant and helpful.

Staff was very accommodating. Course was in excellent condition, the best I have played this year.

On vacation in Williamsburg. Used GolfNow to make a quick search of courses. This course was closest to where we were staying. Beautiful course although still in winter dormancy. We were able to play 18 holes on 3.5 hours. Friendly staff non pro shop and clubhouse. We’ll definitely be back!

I enjoy this course. It's a good layout that's usually in pretty good condition. Well worth the money. One of the better deals in the area in my opinion. Good practice facilities too which is hard to find around here. It's a bit out of the way to get to but can't hold that against them. It's in our loop of courses that we try to get to a few times a year.

Course was in great shape! Beautiful layout, friendly staff. Food at clubhouse bar was very good!

We were two. Nice day. We were visiting from Ireland so had to hire clubs. They charged us 40 dollars each plus tax to hire the clubs. They did not supply any balls, tees or wipe cloths with the clubs and the worst was that the clubs were ancient and very worn including the grips which were torn. This was very very unfair in our opinion. The course fee wasn't too expensive but the charge for the clubs left a bad taste as they were so bad. It was impossible to open the ladies restroom on the course even with the code which was not supplied in the pro shop (had to phone to get it). The course is a bit less than average in condition and layout. All in all disappointing.

Jamestown has a good layout. The greens are perfect. One of the best greens in Williamsburg.

This is the second time I have traveled from out of town to play at this golf course. Both times that I have played there the staff was polite and helpful, the course was in amazing condition, and it was just an all around great time.

We played this course two days after Hurricane Dorian came through and with all the rain they got down that way the only spots that were bad was the driving range and then some areas around greens and the sand in some of the bunkers . If the course had 1 or maybe 2 days more to dry out the course would have been perfect. I highly recommend this course and we will return to play here not only to play the Jamestown course again, but also so we can try out the Yorktown course.

Jamestown Course is back to its former glory. Probably better now that the greens are Bermuda. They were smooth and had great speed. Course doesn’t beat you up off the tee. Very playable even for a 16 Handicap like me. For the average joe this def the best conditioned public course in Williamsburg.
