Love Playing Here
I really enjoy playing this public course. It is one of the best in the area. The course is in really good condition and the beauty that surrounds is hard to beat.
This Course has excellent features !
Played Bidwell GC 5/18/13 Saturday , full house , out of forty five different golf courses I've played I would rate this course to be one in five best courses! Greens well kept and in great condition, fair ways great , definitely relaxing! I would highly recommend this course. Looking forward to play Bidwell Park again...
Great shot makers course.
Great course. Walkable and a good course. Challenging but straightforward. Rewards a shotmaker who can draw the ball. Great value.
Fun course to play.
Play early, eliminate the afternoon heat and wind. Fun course to play, holes are pretty close together (green to tee box) so walking is not a problem. Friendly atmosphere, small pro shop but well stocked.
you like deer, geese, wild turkey, normal turkeys...go play...
one of the most serene backdrops for good golf in northern california...wildlife abundant...peaceful surroundings with encouragle, wonderful people at the course...you gotta play a round or two at Bidwell Park Golf Course!
good buy by booking on lineits

the course is being improved
the staff was friendly and the course conditions a maintinace has improved
The course is part of Bidwell Park and very nice.
This course is in very good shape and was a pleasure to play.
Great day!!!!
The staff was outstanding!!! Slow players in front.
NOT GOOD
Cow pasture without the cowsand pucky. I was hoping that the new management would have brought the course up to par The
only muni course in Chico, it will always be a cow pasture.
Slow play4 3/4 hr on a Monday Save your money , go to Table Mountain
Challenging
The pace of play was so slow couldn't get in any rhythm!!! They had 5somes all over the course with early tee times!! terriable
Slow play and dry conditions
I hadn't played Bidwell in a while but found the pace of play on the slow side. Conditions of the course were on the dry side, but the greens In good condition.
Gorgeous course to enjoy a game of golf, including wildlife to observe.
A favorite of ours in Butte County to play. Always use this course as a comparison to others we visit throughout the state.
Bidwell gets high merits all the way around. Solvang(River Course at Alisal) is also fantastic.
Good Course
The course was in good condition but the greens were not in the best shape.
Pace of play
The pace was so slow we were waiting 10 minutes almost every shot. The greens are in great condition but the fairways and tee boxes were in poor condition. The conditions are understandable for this time of year but the 35 green fee with cart seemed to high. I have played this course many times and the pace of play on weekends is way to slow with no chance to play through.
This course is one of my favorites. The greens are true and well maintaned. I also love the natural park settings of deer and creek streams.
I always enjoy playing this course. The staff is always friendly, the greens are well maintaned, and the natural park surroundings puts me at ease, even when I have a bad round of golf.
Can't beat the scenery or the wildlife. I saw two very big bucks fighting while I was there. Awesome.
I really like the layout and the tiny greens make the course a little more challenging but the course is in need of some work, but then again it is winter. I only paid $15 for my round which was a deal. It was still very fun to play. It was wet and a little boggy in some places but hopefully with the new management things will get better. The scenery was beautiful and the wildlife makes up for the course not being in great shape.
fun course , beautiful back 9 ,some great holes ! Smaller greens but in good shape!
Older course with some great holes ! kept in very good shape !
The course recovered well from last week's storms.
After last week's torrential rain and winds, the course was in surprisingly good shape. The greens were slicker than expected and there were very few mudholes in the fairways.
