Bidwell Park Golf Course

Fall golf has its challenges with greens being punched and in this case tee box over seeding. Bottom line great deal for the money on a 100 year old course. Let the wife tag along with no charge Great staff. Challenging course despite gaining distance off the tee. Rated 70 probably could have been 68. We’ll be back

An old course but is kept in good shape. Lots of trees which add to the challenge. No driving range. Currently heeding all covid-19 requirements.

Grass a little dry, greens very bumpy because of dead spots. Still managed to get a few pars, but some holes were frustrating. I still love this place. Wild life, friendly people who could ask for more. I will be glad when they put ball washers out . Still trying to get that elusive birdy. Well have to blame score on something.

The greens were in good shape. Fairways we’re not in the best of shape. They could cut the grass lower for the fairways. The tee boxes needed to be cut also. The layout was a nice change for me from my regular places. Overall I’d play again. I’ve even told a few friends about the place.

Had a good time. A bit windy tho. Greens were playing really fast. But enjoyable. Need sharpen up my game for sure. Oh yes I won’t forget to say it was windy day.

The course was busy, but a marshal came by at least 3 times. Never waited too long. A couple of greens needed some work, but in general were in good shape.

I have been playing golf for many years. Bidwell Park Golf Course has always been a challenging layout. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Wildlife is abundant throughout the course.

Would I recommend Bidwell Park Golf Course when you have the urge to play.

There was a men’s club tournament in the morning that backed things up. Once they cleared things picked up.

Great course and some challenging holes. Earlier rain did not affect the play.

why would you squeeze regular groups between the city championship tournament? The answer is you should not. PERIOD

unneccesary waiting for what should have been a closed golf course for the tournament.

Course has enough trees and bunkers to cause problems. I hit three bunkers yesterday. If you can hit straight your will be fine. Roughs will challenge you. Beyond the roughs, it is wilderness. A couple of the greens showed effects of record heat this summer. There are lots of deer, ducks, geese, turkeys, and turtles to distract you. The staff is friendly. My partner is addicted to the wraps from the bar and grill.

This golf course has great features; the staff is a great place to start. The clubhouse serves delicious meals and snacks. The course itself is set within Bidwell Park, Bidwell Park is one of the largest city parks in the U.S.

Wildlife everywhere.

We (golfers) are spoiled.
