The Club at Forest Ridge

Very challenging course. Tight fairways and lots of trees. The course was in great condition. Must stay in the fairway in order to score well. Golf carts with gps are a nice amenity to have. Will play again

This is an outstanding layout that is available for public play. Due to having 2 heavy, windy/rain storms within the last week, carts remained on the path. Having said that the course for players is in outstanding shape. Every hole challenges players, and usually a Risk/Reward if you take a chance. I highly recommend.

The course was in great condition but showed some signs of the lack of etiquette in repair of ball marks. But likely magnified by rains recent to the area.

Very nice course! Greens where quick with nice contours but nothing crazy. The only complaint I have is with those who have played it and don’t know how or don’t fix there divots. The price was excellent for the quality of the course. A course like this in Florida would cost you double if not more!

Got a hot deal for $28 which is great. Tee off on time. Beverage lady was only on first hole and that was the only time, we saw her. GPS was on cart and 90 degree rule. I drove cart in fairway and warning sign would appear for cart in fairway. Not good. Also, on holes, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, the custodian was watering the greens and would make us wait each time for him to finish watering. There was no one on course but he kept watering in front of us. When, we pass him, he drove up in front of us to water the next green. Frustrating. He could have waited for us and not drove in front of us for those holes. He took the fun out of the day and it was hot enough with the weather rather to have him add to the frustration of the day.

This is the finest public course I have played. Immaculate tee boxes, pristine fairways, and luxurious greens. The golf carts are the Rolls Royse of all golf carts, finest leather seats, GPS monitor, and all the luxuries imaginable. A must play if you are in the Midwest region of the United States.

The course is challenging and in great condition. Got behind very slow players that didn’t know or practice gold ediquite.

Third time I have played. Outstanding layout always enjoy great time with pickup golfers

Overall the course was fantastic. Although I was a little disappointed because in the past they had winter seeded and didn’t do that this year. Not sure when they stopped doing that, but overall for this time of year the conditions were great. The greens rolled true and were hard and slick. It was a day in the 70’s temp wise so everyone else was out playing too. We were running about 20 min behind getting to tee off, but the pace of play stayed right on so it wasn’t bad in that regard either. So my assessment is I recommend this course to anyone interested.

Course was in great condition for the time of year. (Bermuda fairways were dormant).Traps were well maintained, greens were fast but true; the layout was fair (no tricks or gimmicks, all the hazards and trouble are visible).

Would definitely recommend to others and play again.
