Shoot a low score here, and you will know you played well.
I loved everything , except my score! And I can't wait to play it again, but I love a challenge, how about you!
Awesome
Very challenging course. Not a grip it and rip it course. You have to manage every shot. Tight fairways. Loved how it made you think!!! I will play this course again!
Hot Deal Amazing
Hot Deals for this course are great. Fun yet very challenging course teaches everyone the importance of hitting fairways and GIR. Staff are great as well. Course was in great shape for April. Greens were fast and rolled very true. I'll play this course anytime
Forest Ridge GC
If you have to play 1 course while in Tulsa, OK, it has to be Forest Ridge GC. This is a semi-private course that is challenging, always in immaculate shape and will leave you wanting to play again (even after it eats you up)!
Every hole has it's trouble areas - be it water, sand, trees and of course, wind. Fairways are wide and generous and the greens are very fast. Great tee boxes (4 sets) and a very friendly staff. A little pricey, but worth every penny. Back nine is tougher than the front, so make sure to take advantage of every birdie opportunity while you can.
TK
The course was in excellent condition
The course was in excellent condition. The pace was slower then I hoped because several foursomes teed off before my threesome. Excellent value for the price one of the more challenging and enjoyable courses to play here in Tulsa
This course is a precious gem
A very well designed course with every hole beautifully manicured presenting its fun/unique characteristics on a combination of links and traditional styles of golf course. Keeping the ball in fairway is an absolute must. Lots of hazards and thick rough will challenge your golf skills and composure. A very much fun and prestigious course.
Great course but not understanding
I bought the round on a fire sale. One of the four had work come up last minute and could not make it. I asked for a round for him for a later date since he could not make it and I was denied. I felt that it was a reasonable request that should have been met. Other than that and constant rain on the front everything went well.
Great Course
The course was in great shape aside from a lot of unrepaired ball marks on the green. Beautiful day and decent pace of play. I would recommend this course to anyone.
Well Worth It
As far as public courses in Tulsa goes, this one is tops! Get a green's fee at a discount and you are in for a great day. Staff knowledgable and friendly. Practice facility well kept and equipped. Course in very good shape.
Great golfing experience
Not a hackers course. Not a bomber course. Had to play golf to shoot low. Fairways well manicured. Rough was deep. Greens were moderate pace but well taken care of. Bunkers were very playable. Tee boxes were great.
love it
This is my favorite course in this area. If you can get it in the fairway, its not very difficult. If you have issues getting off the tee.....bring extra balls!!!
fair at best
The greens were slow and the rough just eats up balls
Love Forest Ridge
I've always liked this course, a great value and layout. Challenging, but fair, a thinking man's course, you can't just stand on the tee and plan to hit driver on every hole.
Tough course
Too early in the year for this course to be in top condition. Food stop at the turn was closed for an unknown reason.
finally a nice day to golf
i played this course after a long spell of snow, ice, rain ,weather not suitable for golf.im sure there was some rust but this course demands your undivided attention on every shot. if your not in the fairway or1st cut your playing for bogey.like i said its winter but the course is still beautiful if you can stop and smell the roses theres alot of stunning holes and fairways .the personel at the pro shopwere knowlegable and curtious. all in all it was a very memorable 9 holes wish i would have played the full 18 thanks FOREST RIDGE Daniel Witwer
Almost a Country Club
The best public course in Tulsa. The golf carts are equipped with advanced GPS. The layout is generally wide open, but plenty of challenges. The course is very well maintained with nice white sand traps. A joy to play.
One of Tulsa's best public courses
This is a course that requires a targeted shot or its gone! Not a good place for beginners. If you don't hit it in play, its gone. Beautiful course. Never passes another hole. So, if you are used to hitting from the other fairway, there is no other fairway.
king of value
Phenomenal course and an even better value! I recommend using golfnow.com to anyone looking to explore new courses and not wanting to pay premium prices.
Very challenging coarse well manicured
Being paired up with an unknown party of three was the only downside to my experience. I am a fairly consistent 20 handicap. The other guys were around a 5 handicap and could have easily been frustrated with my play on the coarse. Thankfully they were very patient and helpful throughout the round but I couldn't help but feel rushed to keep up with them on the par 4s and especially the par5s. I would suggest finding out roughly a players handicap before pairing them with unknown parties.
great experience
Everybody needs to play this course if they never have. Great course.
