I would love to play in the summer
I played this course on a very cold day in March. There were snow flakes falling for much of the time...
but I loved every second of this place. I would love to see what this course looks like in the summer. It was in great shape even in March. If ever in the Tulsa area, I will be sure to book a round or two at Forest Ridge. I see how it can be ranked as one of the top places you can play in Oklahoma.
Great Course
Grass is starting to "green up" nicely and should be in pristine condition in another couple of weeks!
I always enjoy playing Forest Ridge. Great course.
Look forward to playing it again. I love the challenge it brings.
Great staff and very people friendly.
Best Public Course in Green Country
The course is in excellent condition and is the best public course in NE Oklahoma (Green Country). While they have stopped overseeding in the winter, the course remains very playable on the dormant bermuda.
Forest Ridge, the public country club.
All golfers would like to play at a nice, upscale country club but we often find the cost prohibitive. Forest Ridge provides 95% of the country club experience in a daily fee course. The greens are excellent but very fast. Pin placements are often in the most challenging spot. The course is very well maintained and of course you get free range balls, GPS and USGA Index services. This is a challenging course. It's tight and if you stray from the fairway you will likely be in trouble. Notable holes include 15, with the isthmus green and 5, with the double dogleg.
super
course was in great condition for being the end of the year. couple torn up spots but fairways and greens and tee boxes etc all in great condition. plus i played well so thats good to
Love this course
ONE OF THE BEST COURSES IN TOWN FOR THE PRICE... HAS A CONTRY CLUB TYPE FEEL TO IT... THE COURSE HAS PLAYED DIFFERENT EACH AND EVERY TIME I HAVE PLAYED IT WHICH MAKES IT FUN AND CHALLENGING FOR GOLFERS OF ALL SKILL LEVELS... WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!!
One of the best public courses I've played.
Forest Ridge is one of the very best public courses I've played, and better than most of the private courses. The course is challenging but not overwhelming and it is comfortable for all skill levels. Combined with quality course design, course maintenance is very high level, resulting in a very good experience.
Another good afternoon at Forest Ridge
I've played this course a half-dozen times over the past five years, and it has never disappointed. Even when the greens are less than their best, as was the case this time, the course is well cared for, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the other players I meet are courteous, encouraging, and helpful. It's a tribute to the group of members who are there regularly and who might prefer not to have outsiders intruding.
This course has great character
This is for semi private / public course it is truly wonderful.
From the bag guys that assit with your clubs to the fully stocked pro shop.
My only complaint is they could not stop the 2 inches of rain we got in 3 hours.
The holes holes are challengeing yet fair even to the novice golfer. They make you think about shot selection.
I would reccomend this course.
The greens and fairways were in great shape
Enjoyed the experience. I felt like I was playing a golf course at a higher level.
