Located less than an hour from Seattle in Lakewood, Oakbrook Golf Club is one of the area's hidden gems. Opened in 1966 as a private club, the course opened its doors to the public in 2012. The course is known for its smooth, firm, and fast greens. The 6,700-yard layout plays both narrow and long but it is player friendly enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. With hundreds of mature oak trees scattered throughout the course, accuracy is key. It's a course that rewards strategy rather than raw skill. One of Oakbrook Golf Club's toughest holes is the par-4 seventh, which you'll have to play from below since it's sloped steeply from top to bottom. The downhill shots and doglegs will put golfers of any skill level to the test.

A Great Course
A great course we'll worth the money. And the course was in great shape.
I would recommend
Course in expected shape for mid November. Greens are fantastic.
Conditions
Greens, fairways and rough are perfect. My soon, daughter and I love this course, the tee boxes are set up for everyone’s skill and abilities.
Good challenging course from any teebox.
Course has maintained very well. A must-play course
October 24 Oakbrook
I played 4 times so far. Staff and members I played with were friendly. Took 5 hours once and little over 4 hours twice. I played in the afternoon and greens were bumpy. Greens overall néeds improvement but 3 stars for the greens.
Very Green
The rain and warm weather have put the course in great condition. A pleasant fall round of golf..
Oakbrook
The course is in great shape. The fairways and greens are clean and smooth. Get out and play the course.
Wonderful scenery course
The design and qualities of the fair and green were very nice. But the price with a cart seemed to be higher comparatively.
Course well kept
Course was in great condition. Got a deal through an app for a discounted rate. No beverage cart as far as we saw. Practice area was in good shape. Pace of play was pretty good for a weekend, didn't have ti wait until about hole 14 and we were just a two man so we were playing fast.
