Prairie Woods Golf Course tumbles across some of Wisconsin's most rolling terrain. On almost any point on the course, whether you're standing on the tees, the fairways, or the greens, the undulating landscape will put your skills of perception to the test. The golf course offers plenty of variety with a unique design on each hole. The rolling hills determined the strategic placement of the bunkers and there are water hazards coming into play on several holes. It's a layout that will keep you on your toes and reward a well thought-out shot, but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. The golf course is just over 6,000 yards from the back tees but the changes in elevation can make it feel longer. Besides being one of the most unique rounds in the area, Prairie Woods G.C. is also one of the most affordable.

This course is laid out great, if you're looking for a challenging game of golf look no further. Friendly and polite staff. Greens were in very good condition as well as fairways. Grab your wife or buddy's and play at a great course

Slow pace of play
Overall fun course but the tee times are to close together. My group and the group behind were waiting every hole for the group ahead of me.
Breath of Fresh Golf Air
A pleasant experience every time regardless of my golf score. Challenging target course with interesting opportunities to take chances if I feel "lucky". Prairie Woods is like a diamond in the rough nestled among corn and soy bean fields. Staff is amazingly friendly and down to earth always.

A gem in the midst of farm country.
As a senior golfer, I appreciate shorter courses these days and Prairie Woods is just right for length. But it's the beauty of rolling hills among tree-lined fairways, along with challenging and innovative hole design, that really grabbed me. The price I paid for my first round was a GolfNow hot deal, but I'd come back at the regular price in a heartbeat!
Always enjoy the course. Each hole is different and enjoyed the shade at almost every tee. The last two times we played as a twosome it took less than three hours.
