About
Inniscrone Golf Club in Avondale is one of the toughest public courses in the area. It is a formidable challenge to say the least, but an enjoyable one. None of the holes run parallel to each other and no two holes are alike either. The greens have quite a bit of variation from one to the next but mostly they are very large and extremely fast. Although the greens only have mild contouring, the rippling landscape still provides plenty of challenges throughout. Strategically placed bunkers perfectly complement the dramatic elevation changes, ranging from pot bunkers to vast expanses of sand. Inniscrone Golf Club's ninth hole is a memorable one since it encapsulates the course's appeal with a ridge of cross-bunkers just off the tee and even more along the left side.

Inniscrone
Very welcoming staff. Course is overall ok shape but somethings need serious attention. Tee boxes need to be mowed and rolled. 12th green needs to be totally rebuilt. Flag placements should be moved more often to avoid wear and spike marks. Bunkers need white sand not playground sand.
This could be a gem of a public course with a little bit of investment.
The course layout is nice but the greens were very shaggy on a number of holes and the ball just wobbled whenever we had to putt. The sand traps were an absolute disaster. It is nice layout but right now is being poorly maintained.

Wanting to comeback
I am a Beginner who happens to play often as possible. I played this course for the first time and found it to be challenging for a golfers who have more skill than me. I left the course wanting to play it again. I fill like I owe this course a better game.

Great Round
I golf at Inniscrone often and every time I was there I noticed the ground crew was out in force and it shows.. I believe every trap now has sand, the greens are much improved. Great job to the ground crew and management for turning this course around.

Course is looking great
As always- great course. Tee boxes need a little love but the fairways and greens are in excellent shape. Great job guys.

Bad conditions. High rough.
They need to cut the grass around the fairways. The greens were in pretty bad shape. Dry spots, craters. Multiple ball marks. It just isnr well maintained. I would compare it to Patriots Glen in Elkton. It was just bad. No rangers moving things along. No starter. Pace was slow. Bottle necked. Get people out there to manage the game! Especially on the weekend.

Course is going down hill.
Inniscrone used to be one of our go-to courses. Now that the township has taken over, the course is in pretty bad shape. There is no sand in the bunkers, the greens are spotty and full of mold. They are replacing some of the bunkers with seed and sod. It doesn't seem to be working. You cant keep a putt on line. I know it is covid season, but the amenities are horrible. I don't think we will play here in the near future

Needs a lot of work
Tee boxes chopped up, every green has lots of ball marks. Poor condition except for the fairways. Sand traps are horrendous ! Cost is extremely high for today’s conditions. Extremely wet, with no rain ?? I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re a scratch golfer

Payed a round enjoyed so much played again only it was packed 2nd time around so i skipped a couple hole but overall loved it
