Inniscrone Golf Club

Course was okay. For the money I wish they would have stayed closed for another week or 2 and had all the holes open. Besides the fact of it being off season the course has definitely diminished over the years needs a major overhaul to become nice again.

Played in February so I did not expect the course to be in great shape. For the time of year it was very good. I’ll be back

I've played Inniscrone a bunch of times, so not surprised to see a lot of water sitting around on the course. To be fair, it rained a lot the days leading up to us playing, and it was winter, but some of the spots looked like actual water hazards. The course layout is not my favorite, as there are many blind shots, but there are some fun holes as well. I'll play there again as it's close and the price isn't bad, but I'' wait until it's been dry for a while.

The course was in pretty good shape for late January.

Course was gorgeous. Challenging but entertaining holes. Favorite course I’ve been to in months. The ground was tough to get the tee in, but outside of that, the grass was perfect.

I really like this course. It’s fun and not expensive. I’ve played it a few times and really it boils down to two things. It’s a municipal course and could use some tweaks surrounding course maintenance. The greens haven’t been in the greatest shape and that’s probably more to the fact that people don’t repair their ball marks. Step up people, do your part to keep public courses nice!

The golf course was in pretty good shape considering all the wet and frozen weather recently.. As my golf partner said if you can golf well at Inniscrone you can golf well anywhere.

I like to play Inniscrone a couple times a year when I need a little chastening. It's always tough, requires a lot of thought and pretty good execution. It's not at all friendly to poorly struck or wayward shots. Memorable holes, that's for sure. It seems that maintenance, conditioning and wetness are chronic issues and real problems at some times of the year. Holes like 4, 17 and 18, and the front of 9 and 10, particularly suffer from the wet, The course would probably benefit from an aggressive tree removal/trimming back program. It's off the beaten track for me (Devon) but definitely worth a trip once or twice a year.

This course is on my regular rotation. A good bargain. Very diverse and interesting collection of holes. A couple of drivable par 4s and a few very long ones. A few very tight holes and several that are wide open. Very little intrusion from housing. Overall a difficult course that severely punishes mistakes.

Quite a few of the sand traps need work but the biggest disappointment is the condition of the greens. They deteriorated significantly in 2020. Well built need a lot of work.

Interesting layout, varied holes, lies, distances. I enjoyed the course.

The greens are slow and in terrible condition. The traps are even worse.

Left after 9 holes. This was not worth the winter rate. Tee boxes were in worse shape than a low end muni.

Grass on the greens were nearly as long as the fairway. Rough is deep 5-6 inches in some places. About half of the tee boxes are all dirt. No Marshall keeping pace of play. Bunkers unplayable. Will not be going back anytime soon.

This used to be a very good track and great value...but no more. It’s obvious no more money goes into this place and it’s sad to see. Bunkers overgrown, fairways not cut, tee boxes in shambles and the worst greens I’ve played on all year anywhere. Honestly FDR’s greens in Philly are better than these were. So thick and full of holes and moss that it’s an auto-two putt like they were just punched. Too bad because this is still a picturesque and challenging track but it’s not even worth the $43 on a Saturday morning. A true bummer.

Tee boxes and the greens are a little beat up, but I guess it’s because it’s the end of the season. Overall, nice course.
