About
Inniscrone Golf Club in Avondale is one of the toughest public courses in the area. It is a formidable challenge to say the least, but an enjoyable one. None of the holes run parallel to each other and no two holes are alike either. The greens have quite a bit of variation from one to the next but mostly they are very large and extremely fast. Although the greens only have mild contouring, the rippling landscape still provides plenty of challenges throughout. Strategically placed bunkers perfectly complement the dramatic elevation changes, ranging from pot bunkers to vast expanses of sand. Inniscrone Golf Club's ninth hole is a memorable one since it encapsulates the course's appeal with a ridge of cross-bunkers just off the tee and even more along the left side.

Amazing find while in town!
Booked this last minute and was extremely pleased. Everything from the clubhouse to 18 was wonderful. Got a good cigar, course polo shirt for $15, and shot 85, so it was a great day! Course looked amazing. Challenging, but worth every frustration haha. I can’t wait to return and play another round.

Hope things improve
We've played many rounds at Inniscrone over the past few years. It's a challenging layout that can test the best of golfers. Unfortunately, the course is in poor condition right now. The greens have bare spots all over and don't roll like they used to. The traps are mud or completely unraked messes. I sure hope that they will get things in better shape for future play and it's not a sign of further trouble. This is too good a course to be kept like this.

I golf at Inniscrone often and I love the renovations currently taken place. The course was in great shape and had great time.

Early season great bang for your buck
Great course for what you pay. The greens could use some work but it’s early in the season so that’s not a big deal. Overall it’s a good time.

Needs significant work
Bunkers are huge and simply, just mud. It’s an automatic drop if you’re in one. Greens are picked and very bumpy but, playable. Course design is very tough to begin with + strong winds today. I consider it practice when I play here and know what to expect.

Match madness
It’s March, the tee boxes will get better, the fairways are good and the greens were very dry and fast today. Never a bad time here. Be back hopefully next weekend..
