First time wildhorse
The course is challenging. The staff is great and course is in decent shape. I think the greens are a little slow. My only negative is there is only one bathroom on the course.
Frost round of 2020 with my son.
Haven’t played here for a while but it was fun. Course in good condition even with the rain. Looking forward to coming back soon.
Great course in good shape and fun to play
The round was great and the course is in good shape. It's not getting a lot of play so it was wide open.
Good course, needs better maintenance
Love this local course, wish it was kept in better shape.
Wildhorse review
This is a fun course, moderately challenging, but fair. I would warn you, if you are accustomed to playing a certain color tee to check the overall yardage, they play shorter than expected. You may have to back up a tee box to play a yardage you are more used to. The only complaint I have about the course is the sand traps need attention, there is not much sand in them and it’s more like hitting off of dirt. Overall though, I enjoyed the course, the staff is very friendly, and grill is very good too, great cheeseburger!
Wildhorse, great as always.
I’ve always been a fan of this course. We got an inexpensive rate and completed our round in three and a half hours, on a Saturday. Great weekend golf experience.
Wonderful Course to play for the value
This course is a go to anytime of year. It is the best draining course in the winter during heavy rain. The person at the counter is always friendly and welcoming.
Try this course, you will not be disappointed.
Most improved course
Beautiful and challenging course, very friendly staff, and very improved since 2 years ago. Greens are great. Sand traps often without good sand the most common complaint but minor compared to the course as a whole.
Just Great
Wonderful well kept golf course. Fairways and greens in excellent condition. Fun layout.
Hidden Gem
Always enjoy playing this course. Not overly challenging but plenty of interesting holes. Course is always in nice shape.
Close to great
Booked a 6:48 AM teetime and got paired up with two very nice gentleman. The staffer that greeted me when checking in was nothing short of excellence and extremely accommodating. Our round got off to a rocky start when we met a groundskeeper at the first green watering near the hole leaving a puddle. I definitely understand that this is a necessity and nothing I can do about it but it was tough to start a round this way. As we played things got better but I have seen the course in better shape. That is not to say it was in bad shape by any means but it wasn’t up to their top notch caliber that I have seen with this course before. However, the greens rolled very nicely and there were not many unfixed ball marks. Our pace was average and we played around in about four hours and 10 minutes. Overall I had a very enjoyable day and will definitely go back.
Just OK...
Greens are not in the best of shape, very dry course with lots of brown and dead spots. Fairway has lots of missing grass and exposed dirt, almost better to play from the first cut just off the fairways. Course needs some love but is a decent play, worth 35-40 dollars for what it is.
Harder than I remember
I had no business playing black tees but did. Made the course much more challenging.
Greens were very challenging.
Hardest hole is that narrow par5 (whole 5).
Take two five irons then attack big green and you will get a birdie putt.
A Marshall needed to push the foursome ahead of us. They were painfully slow. All it takes is one slow foursome to slow down 4 separate groups.
Despite of long rainy days, they still allow carts to on the fairways. Although 90 degrees rule is applied, it definitely help the pace of play. Enjoyed it so much.
