Wildhorse Golf Course

Great course but even better winter course it drains well n greens were real good. A challenging with high risk high reward. About 4 holes plays longer then what they call out but overall great course.

The staff is great. This particular instance the kitchen closed early due to a private event. That sucked. There is no food service or drink service on the course offered. So you have to run and get your food in a hurry and get back to course. In that specific situation. Also the course was backed up because of weather. Maybe notify people there is a back up. All this said I'm sure this is not the norm. It's a great fun course. The one problem that really bugged me was the grounds man that was going on the greens and hosing them down WHILE people were putting. He did this to our group too. Not cool. Also this changed the speed of all the greens that we had encountered after the fact. It was 1230 pm when this was happening. Should be done near closing. Other than had a great time.

Great course layout, however sand traps are awful as there is virtually no sand in them. As noted above, most players at Woildhorse are not professional golfers and the speed of the greens is simply a disservice to average recreational players!

Wildhorse is a great track. Plus, it has the best drainage of any course around so if I want to play after a heavy rain, this is where I go.

The final two holes can make your round. A well placed tee shot on 17 provides an execellent eagle opportunity and 18 requires a nearly perfect drive to make par. Unfortunately, on this day, they broke me. I can’t wait to take them on again with, hopefully, a better result.

I have played this course about 10 times, there often seems to be a problem. I have to say for me i now figure there will be some type of problem, while I saw some improvements to issues that needed to be addressed there are still more to fix, Most will have nothing bad to say about the course, but there are so many other choices out there, for me I will not play here in the future, that will be my rule. They don't need me to play here anyway.

The course overall in good condition. The fairways were clean and tight. The rough was lush and green. The greens were smooth and played true. The bunkers were dry and very hard, there was not very much sand in them. I enjoyed my round and had a good time. There is a lot of risk/reward holes at wildhorse, it is a good challenge for a shorter length course.

Normally Wildhorse is great to golf at and the pace is good, however, there was a girls high school sectional tournament going on that we got stuck behind. Had I known the tournament was occurring I would not have reserved a round of golf at the time I did. Our teatime was at 12:45 PM and we were behind the high school golfers all the way through hole 11 . Long day. There should be some type of note in the system that warns you of such events.

This course is really nice. The staff were very friendly and they are planning on installing new restrooms on the course. I will be back. It is forward tee friendly.

Has seen better days but coming along well with new owners and staff was a lot friendlier now. Course is very challenging for a weekend golfer.

The new ownership is doing a really good job with this golf course fun to play and challenging course in really good shape

not much play here.. pay the $40/50+ dollars for fast play..

Wildhorse is a very well designed and challenging course. Also new owners are improving facilities greatly. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I enjoyed the layout, the staff was friendly and the pace of play was slightly above average. I think with a little work this could become an excellent course...the sand traps need an overhaul...but the greens, despite being somewhst slow, were true...

Short course with narrow fairways. Plenty of hazards and danger to make you shoot accurately. Soft greens were nice to make approach shots stick. Gps very helpful as this isn't a grip it and rip it course.

My 4-some had a great time, the staff were the best I've seen from numerous courses around the country. The course is in decent shape save for some muddy spots due to a little over watering in several areas. Saw the cart person only once in four hours.

Course was fun and challenging and staff was courteous.
