Wild Rock Golf Club - Wild Rock Championship Course

This course was recommended by a friend and she could not have given us a better recommendation. Visiting from Arizona and first time playing on dewy grass as opposed to the desert. All in all it was fun change of golf for us Arizonians and would love to play it again if in the area!!

This course has tons to offer. Facility and staff were amazing, food at the course was great, and having 2 courses gives you plenty of opportunities to play. Main course has great views with lots of wildlife at all hours of the day. Well worth traveling to!

For the money can’t beat this course for condition, scenery, challenge, and accommodating staff.

Group behind us split from a foursome into two twosomes and tee’d off early making our group with a senior player feel rushed. One course attendant came around and told us to keep on them after letting them play through. For a Sunday morning it was a very pressured round of golf being hit very close to twice.

This was my first trip to Wild Rock and had been looking forward to it for a while. I was not disappointed, the staff was friendly and helpful….and the course was spectacular!

Great course! Scenic views of the Baraboo hills. Have had deer come across the fairway every time I’ve golfed here. Challenging greens, but numerous forgiving wide fairways

Nice course but would never go back, made the turn in 2:30 and back 9 took over 3 hrs, unacceptable. Not worth the aggravation.

The course itself was in great condition. The frustrating portion was the snack shack ran out of food by 12:30 pm. The bathrooms were less than acceptable. And a round of 18 holes should not take longer than 5 hours. They need far better monitoring for the course of play as this is the second time we have had this happen.

Best course I have played on. And it was not crowded at twighlight on Monday.probably not the case on the weekends.

I play Wild Rock every time I stay at the wilderness. The course is always in great shape and the staff could not be more friendly and helpful. If there was one thing I would change is would be to give a discount to play the course if you are staying at the Wilderness. We spent Saturday to Wednesday and spent quite a bit. It would have been nice to have gotten a break on the golf course price, but having said that I would definitely play the course again

Had an excellent time golfing, all staff very personable. Great views and challenging will come again.

Our round was over 4 and 1/2 hours long. Way too slow. It appeared to us that management did not want to upset patrons by managing the pace of play.

Also, the course is very challenging. Too challenging for the average golfer.

For the above reasons, we will not play there again.
