Legend Oaks Golf Club

First time in the area, so I researched courses in the area and booked a teetime Hot Deal at this course. Got to the clubhouse early and proceeded to get balls for the range. The range (technically iron's only) was an absolute mess with hitting off heavily worn and uneven matts only. The tee boxes were a mess, heavily worn and rutted. The concrete cart path was heaved and heavily cracked resulting in horrible bouncing cart. The fairways and greens were in decent shape. Lunch in the clubhouse was excellent.

I felt this course has a good layout, but I found a few of the hazards with not playing here before. The tee boxes were in a very poor condition and could do with some loving care

Numerous tee boxes were dirt. Greens were slow Fairways were average. Pretty cheap for a senior rate $42 but this course needs some love. They have a new groundskeepers and he is trying hard - but he needs time and some investment in the course.

Once you get past the first 3 tee boxes it all gets better. Greens were primarily good with only a few spotty areas. Fairways are pretty good but like most local courses need more water.

The greens are good. Not too fast tho. The fairways are ok. Three tee boxes need some serious attention, as do the three surround areas of the greens. The layout is fun, no complaints at all. I've played the course a few times and it seems like it should be in better shape by this time of year.

The tease on the first three holes and greens were still a little off, but seem to be getting better. Fairways are OK but still a lot of weeds. Most of the tease after starting with number four were fine as well as the greens.

The fairways and greens were in good shape. Good value and fun layout to play.

A few holes really get your attention. Lot of fun to play. Will return. Needs better grooming

The course is challenging with lots of water and bunkers. You need to plan your shots. The course was in overall very good shape. A few of the tee boxes were pretty neat up. Most of the greens were slow except for 18.

Great course. Layout is challenging but not impossible. Weather was perfect for a day of golf

I’ve been looking for a new course in the Charleston area that wasn’t resort priced and this popped up. Loved the layout; tee boxes were a bit rough and could be due to time of year. Really liked the greens. As a 2 some, we flew through, never held up.

Beautiful course, challenging water but nice fairways for a fun round. Very friendly staff and delicious food on the 19th!

Since new management has taken over, the course has steadily declined. The tee boxes are nearly non existent, fairways are mainly weeds, greens are getting taken over by greens but not terrible yet. Ownership needs to invest in this course before it is destroyed. Can't believe the price you play for such a bad experience.

First time playing here and I will be back. Great value and staff was awesome.

Only good thing I can say about this course is that the layout is fine.

On the other hand, the conditions were the worst I have seen in the last two years of any course I have played -- anywhere!

Tee boxes, fairways and greens obviously have not been properly cared for in months, at least. And, no, it is not just because it's March. It's because management apparently just doesn't care about the course enough to fix all the problems with it.

I needed a Chiropractic adjustment after driving on the cart paths. Big chunks of concrete were missing in many areas. Honestly I would not play there again if I could play for free.

Yes, it is inexpensive but there are many, many golf courses around here that are actually fun to play. This course is not one of them.

Please save your money and play elsewhere.

Beautiful scenery. Lots of weeds in the fairways and on the tee boxes but maybe just time of year? Greens were great and views were awesome.
