The Legends at Orange Lake Resort

Legends is a bit more pricey than Orange Lake's Reserve course but worth EVERY penny! It's an AWESOME layout, in great shape, and you can feel Arnie's presence thanks to the inspirational markers at each hole. Bring your A game, because you need to carefully plan your shots. Regrettably, heading home tomorrow, but Legends at Orange Lake Resort will be at the top of my list for next winter's stay.

Great layout . Has a lot of risk-reward holes. Enjoyed the course . Only Issue is that it is hard to find the club house even with a gps.

played 2/19- tee boxes and fairways in good shape for mid-winter. Greens: very firm, have that "winter dormant" look and feel, a lot of undulation, and difficult pin placements. Distances, and slope all reasonable, 124-129 for Whites.

usual Florida set up, "hazard on the right, water on the left". Traps well maintained, a number of large hazard areas, not bunkers.

The 4-some ahead needed lessons, shank after shank, slowed down pace and spoils any concentration/rhythm. Some say a "resort course"- this is more a community course for intermediate-term renters and regional guests. Yes, I'd play it again. Bring plenty of ammunition!!

The course layout was awesome. The greens were lightning fast, but not in terrific shape. Lots of weeds that were shaved down to the soil. For the regular price of a green fee here, I would have expected a lot better conditions. In any case, I had great company that I was paired up with, so it made the round extremely enjoyable. The cart girl came often and was very friendly. I do not like the cash free system at the front desk. I liked the fact that I could pay cash to the cart girl. This cash-free system that is going into effect everywhere is awful.

We were the first flight on the course and therefore the pace was very good (we are relatively fast golfers)

Course is in good conditions and we would go again for sure. The redused greenfee for early bird we paid was in my opinion sufficient - would have been slightly disappointed if i paid full price.

The weather was wonderful and the course paired us with 2 very nice gentlemen. The pace of play was good considering the course was full. Finished in 4 hours and 30 minutes. The fairways were a bit burnt out but over all the condition was good. A bit expensive but it is a resort course so I guess that is to be expected.

Was excited to play another one of Arnie's designs. Quite a letdown. No one to grab the bags at arrival. Range balls not included for $80. Not even a bottle of water? No towel in the cart. Greens all hacked up and covered with green sand to hide the poor quality.Overall quality of the course was not good.With all the great golf in Orlando this was a mistake to visit!

It was a beautiful day and the course was in good shape the only major issue was the pace of play. We waited on every hole, however I was paired with a good conversational list and the 5 hour round was tolerable. I really enjoyed the back nine in particular both for the degree of difficulty and the well kept grounds

I absolutely loved every aspect of this course. From getting greeted to going home. Everyone treaded this Canadian like a special guest. The course was very fair and groomed to perfection. I loved that the grass is not traditional Bermuda, made for nicer rough shots. Its a must on my list ! Bravo guys and gals! just a reminder to others that its a cashless resort so bring a credit card not cash. Just cash for the beer cart!!! lol!

Pace of play very slow and not anyone around to help speed it up. The overall layout was good but the conditions were below par. Greens not smooth and fairways not in great conditions.

Course was in good condition; however the pace of play was poor.
