Another nice round on the mustang. Course getting a burnt out in spots. Greens were perfect.
Golf round
Everything was good with one exception. The starter let out a foursome some groups behind us and everyone had their own cart. So when they caught our group they were pushing us for 8 holes until they passed us without asking on 15. It was not right. I will be bringing it up the next time I
Play there. The pro shop was closed when we finished
Great Course
We played on a weekday afternoon. Beautiful course! Played easier than it's USGA rating. Generous driving areas of the tee. Greens, fairways and rough all in great condition. Best in the Naples area. Interesting holes.
Price too high
This course is interesting and in pretty good shap. My only problem with it is the it’s way too expensive.
Nice course
Nice price on a GolfNow last minute reservation. Started paired me with a member and upgraded me to better course. Everyone was very friendly and course was in great shape.
Lely Resort is THE place
I happen to live in the Lely Resort; access to the two courses here was a significant factor because both courses far exceed the quality of courses in the surrounding area. The Mustang is a very user friendly course with wide fairways; water features can come into play but are a lesser factor than on the flamingo. Green fees are exceedingly high and there is very little availability for the public in the 12 to 2 times. If you have money to throw away, don't miss it.
Great course
Nice challenging, but forgiving course. Fairways and greens were in fantastic condition. The round was spoiled by the three or four foursomes in front of us who were there on a golf package holiday: slowed the pace of play to a crawl and never bothered raking a bunker. Disappointing that the course player assistants did not hurry them along.
Excellent value with hot deal. Great practice facilities. Finished round as threesome in just under 4 hrs.
Nice course
Course was in great shape, staff was friendly. Couldn’t ask for anything more from a “Hot Deal”
Pleasantly surprised
Played Mustang before - but pleasantly surprised by the condition. Fun course at the golf now rate we got $99.
