Lely Resort Golf & Country Club - Mustang Course

Great day. Sad that it was cart path only. Think 90° could have worked. Nice course! Very friendly staff. My sons and I played together for the first time in five years! Fair but challenging layout. Rest of the family joined us for lunch in the Sam Snead Grill after our round. Had a great day!! Would definitely return!

Great condition, numerous tees configurations to suit all golfers, nice practice range, greens rolled true. I look forward to playing again.

Positives: Rough and fairways were in good shape

Negatives: Cart GPS turned-on periodically, greens were not in good shape, pace of play was slow once at hole 13 (ie two groups of two on the tee box, group on the fairway and another on the green - no ranger).

Enjoyed the round and the course.

Just enough challenging holes to keep you focused on your game.

Par 3’s are manageable.

I will be back to play again !!

Drivable holes, long par 3’s, nice well kept fairways. 19 hole (Snead’s) is quite good as well. Overall, highly recommend.

I have played the courses at Lely for the last 20 years

Classics, Flamingo and Mustang. Today I played the Mustang in June, a very pleasant experience. The staff is excellent and the club amenities are very comfortable. The Mustang is the more of the tourist course with wider fairways and larger greens but be ready to hit long drives - the holes are long . I played the green tees with several par 4, 400 plus holes. The only criticism are the greens, I suppose at this time of year they don’t roll them and they play slow with Bermuda type of grass. But if you want a good deal and great layout - play this course , also have the wings I at the Sam Snead bar &grill they are the best around!

Nice course in good condition. No oversight of those who play slow.

It’s a nice Florida course, that’s uses traps and water. Some risk reward holes. Take what the course gives you and you can score well here. Greens are true all the way around. Staff was friendly and accommodating. It’s in the rotation of course that I play when I’m playing in Florida.
