Greens are dirt, avoid
This course is in horrible condition and for the price isn’t worth it. Not even worth it if it was free.
Greens are bad and have been
Almost impossible to putt these greens which have no consistency and are not very green. fairways are ok to good but the traps are inconsistent from dirt to sand. The greens have not been puttable for a while. If the greens were ever fixed the course would be worth playing again.

This course is very close to my home. Over the last 15 years, I've probably played more rounds here than just about anywhere. I won't be going back for a while. Played in January, then again in February and the greens were atrocious. Decided to leave it alone for a while.
Went back due mainly to the fact that other local courses had aerated their greens this week. As soon as I walked up I saw a huge dirt spot on the 18th green and knew it was still in poor shape.
The greens are just poor quality, there is no nice way to put it. Balls bounce around to the hole. Fairways are just OK, nothing special. They have done a good job with their bunkers, which have been a problem area in the past.
Unfortunately, the green situation is simply bad. It will be a while again before I go back. There are other local courses that have made a much better effort to maintain their courses.
This is the best time of year around here. Other local courses' greens are fully in season. Unfortunately this one has not, and at whatever price they charge, it's too much for this condition.

Disappointing
Tees and fairways were above average, but the greens were very very very very bad!!!!!
I’m trying to post some pictures at the end of this review. Also the houses around the the golf course definitely come into play. I would not recommend having a house on this property!!!

Poor Conditions
These are the worse greens in New Orleans area. The course needs to close for a few months and fix all greens, fairways, and tee box areas. When course first reopened after renovation this was one of the top course in New Orleans, now the worse.

Avoid! Greens are unplayable!
They’ve let this course go. The green are dead and brown. For the price play elsewhere.

Lost the Greens
I really like the layout. The staff is great. The fairways are in good shape. The greens are dirt and small splotches of grass. Putting is like playing Plinko. Once they get this remedied I highly recommend playing it. .

Course needs work.
Course needs work. When your putts bounce rather than roll the greens are not in good shape. This condition was uniform throughout all the greens.
The fairways were only in fair condition but given the fact that they were very wet I can understand this.
Overall the course needs a lot of work and attention.

Could be a winner if....
The course is very nice for the most part, great layout, nice fairways, nice bunkers/water. But it's not worth paying 30+ because of the greens. They seem to be doing their best rolling them down but the are covered with crab spots, which makes putting comparable to playing plinko. So no matter how well you are playing the greens are going to kill your score, and your mood.

Greens are terrible ow pretty good course at a discount
Greens are worse than north course city park, all weeds, ow it would be a great course, narrow tough good hazards

Course greens
Overall the course is in good shape but the greens were horrible! Putting was extremely difficult because of the conditions. Sand traps were in better shape

Greens need grass
I have played here many times. I like the layout. The fairways were in good condition as were the bunkers. The greens were in really bad shape. The staff is always friendly.

Green are horrendous
Instead of spending money on the clubhouse, Stonebridge should be spending money on the course itself. I have never seen worse greens in my life ANYWHERE. Do they even have a greenskeeper anymore? I will not play there unless this gets addressed. Greens are the most important aspect of a golf course!

Nice course for a beginner
Well, I am certainly not a "good" golfer. In fact, I'm kinda pathetic. I am pretty happy if I score under 120 (which I happened to here). That said, I enjoy a good course like anyone else, and overall, I can say that here. The biggest positives for me were the clubhouse (beautiful!) and the nice staff (especially the young lady at the bar). My friends played best ball since it was so busy out there (we aren't the fastest of players...sorry about that). The neighborhood was really nice, and I didn't feel intimidated by members or residents. The only negatives I had were the greens and the mud on the back nine. I am hoping the greens are better in the spring...the were pretty bare when we played. The back nine had a number of places where the mud was think...glad we played best ball because I'd have hated to hit in some of the places I ended up. Overall, we had a good day, and enjoyed our round. Again...thanks to the players behind us for their patience.
