Stonebridge Golf Club of New Orleans - Championship Course

Huge greens! They are having some trouble on the edges of a couple greens and a late pop of poa, but other than that greens were fun. Sank a 20’ on 9 and that green probably has the 2nd most poa with number 3 being the worst. Green side bunkers were clean and edged and played well. You can tell they have renovated some of the fairway bunkers but still need to complete the rest of the fairway bunkers. The course is improving for sure. I hope they get those fairway bunkers renovated soon. That’s by far the biggest knock I have on the place.

The arrival of spring will greatly improve this course as with all courses

The contract between GolfNow and this course is active but there seems to be a disconnect when it comes to booking.

I had to wait over 45 minutes just to get to play because the information was not on the courses tee sheet as I was told, so it was extremely frustrating.

I don't even want to ever go back.

I keep trying Stonebridge because it is cheap, nobody is on it, and I like the layout However, it gets worse every time I play there. It feels like it will close any day now as they will officially give up. They added a new awful variable this time- 3 or 4 illegal pin placements. I don't expect much here obviously, but to have pins 2 steps from the fringe shows they have no idea what they are doing.

We planned to golf after coming in from a cruise. New Orleans area had a lot of rain before arriving and the course was very soft, a lot of mud and sand traps had standing water. Otherwise the course was nice and we enjoyed our time.

I thought the course, for late January, was in OK shape. However, the sand traps REALLY suck. Fairway traps are full of water and mud. No sand.

However, if they get their trap problem solved, once spring gets here and the grass starts growing again, all should be OK.

Played Stonebridge for the first time in awhile. Lots of improvements being made. Fairways and greens were in good shape. Do to rain rough was a little high. For good golfers added to the enjoyment. Seamed as though soon will be a very good course.

The grass was long and I lost 8 golf balls behind it

The course is in awful shape, which I knew when I went. However, I was not expecting the fairways to need mowing. It really shows they don't even have the employees needed to do the simple things. It is so thick I even lost balls in the fairway several times. It is a shame because the course is, and could be, a cool layout.

I’m very excited to have played this course but the maintenance is very poor bunkers were in bad shape fairways needed cutting .

Played this course for many years and many of the struggles were always obvious. I will say the recent progress with the greens and overall course leads me to believe SB is moving in the right direction. I always enjoyed the lay out of the course and to see this transformation is awesome!

Nice layout but condition is neglected. Played with a grounds guy from TPC. Louisiana and he stated consistent upkeep would be a 180 degree turn around. Sunday fees $35 all inclusive so can't complain about price. Don't have high expectations for course condition and you will have a good time.

First time playing course, overall very satisfied. Course in great shape for cost, driving range included makes it a great deal.

Course I better condition than last time I played. Greens were dry at many holes. Some need work.
