About
Cobb's Glen Country Club is named after its designer, George Cobb, a Georgia native who lived in Greenville most of his life. He designed many golf courses in the South, including the par-3 course at Augusta National. The golf course sprawls across rolling terrain blanketed with mature forests. Opened in 1976, the layout may be more traditional than modern golf courses but it still presents one of the area's most formidable challenges. The course has hosted a variety of events over the years including the U.S. Open Qualifier and the South Carolina Amateur Championship. There are 90 bunkers strategically placed throughout, and the greens are lightning fast. The 11th is one of the most memorable holes. This par 3 plays over water to a triple-tiered green that is flanked by three bunkers on the right, one for each tier.

Great Round at Cobb's Glen
Just played my first round at Cobb's Glen and had a great time. The staff was super friendly and the course was in good shape.
Beautiful yet challenging
What a beautiful golf course. It was the first time I played it and I must say, I will be back to play again. The whole course was manicured to perfection. It was a challenging course on a few holes since I hit the ball so far. I really enjoyed my round today. I shot an 84 on this magnificent course layout.
Great course
Great greens very challenging old school layout. My favorite course to play
Slow Pace.
Course is in great shape. But waited for 5-10 minutes at the start of every hole. I’d expect this for the first few holes on a Sunday, but waiting on 1-18 seemed a little ridiculous. They could probably use a ranger to keep a reasonable pace of play.
Good local course
Enjoyed Cobb's Glenn once again. A "go to' course for me and buddys here in the upstate. Nice layout and we'll maintained. A dependable regular for golfers nearby.

Great course - fun to play and in great shape, and very reasonable
Good bang for the buck
Course was in good shape. Greens a bit on the slow side. Pace of play was slow due to a group of 4 older gentlemen not allowing our group of 3 play through. Cost to play was great since it was a “Hot Deal”....will play again.
