One of North County's hidden gems.
This is my local course, I live about 15 minutes away and play here at least once a month. This is a great course for the money and the owners do a good job of up keep. I would definitely recommend this course.
Some fairways are a little dry, and you'll find the occasional dry spot on the greens, but overall the course is in good condition. The scenery is nice and the weather is usually fantastic.
Jack the Marshall is awesome, he keeps everyone moving and is always kind if he needs you to let someone play through. I've had a bad experience with the female Marshall, but maybe I just caught her on a bad day.

Need help with pace of play!
Not my kind of golf. Very slow pace of play, no marshal anywhere, dangerous blind shots. 5+ hour round on sunday afternoon. Quirky holes with very few level fairway approach shots. No thanks!

Felt like a pro
Still learning so I play from the whites. It makes some holes challenging, but most are gettable if you stay in the grass. Sent me out ahead of my tee time. They even bring your cart to you(if not too busy) to speed up the process. Greens are great. Pay attention to undulation or your ball might come back to you(3rd hole especially). Enjoy

Getting gypped....
I purchased a time through golfnow....that included a cart.....I have been playing as a single the past few weeks, as my two usual players have been ill.
The young man at the register said I would be playing as a single if that was ok.....he said if I chose to do that, I would have to pay an additional $15,....for a cart....I said my reservation, included a cart....he insisted!....would not let me play as a single, even though the course was empty.....
Very frustrating.
......I did not come accross another player till the 14th hole.....I don’t think their position was right....or nice.

Good bang for the buck
This is an unusual course. Par 70. Par 32 front. Par 38 back. All three par 5s on back. Played blues. Quite short 5120 yards. Fairways are so so. Many are sloped. Bunkers are inconsistent. I was only in one but have played here before. Greens are in great shape and are by far the best part of the course. Several blind tee shots. Many shots up to elevated greens. A straight hitter will do well here. A wild bomber will suffer I think on this course.

Very Nice "Go To" course
The course, for me, is the determining factor for my review. The course fairways were in very good shape and the greens were excellent. It feels darn good to have the ball hit, stick, and roll back as designed. Well kept greens are a must for that. Fairways were well trimmed, but the bunkers could use some additional sand or at least get tilled before the day's play. Pace of play was fair but there seems to be no course marshal to ensure pace of play is maintained and course etiquette observed, i.e. allowing faster groups to "play thru".

Fun course
Fun course to play. Pace of play was good. The front 9 fairways were in better shape than some of the fairways in the back 9. The greens were in great shape. The bunkers need sand. It’s a great deal if booking a hot deal on GolfNow.

Pretty hot today, but totally enjoyable.
Greens are good, fairways lots better.....
Hit the ball well, but didn’t make a lot of putts...but no 3 putts....
