Golfer Reviews
Great day
Course was in great shape. Beast round of the year.
Fred enke
Great course layout and conditions.
Pace was slowed by a few— could be improved by an overbearing course marshal pushing walkers to pair up.. but dose really want that?
Was average to me :4 hours for 18 holes
Today, it was really windy, but still a lot of fun
We knew what the local weather forecast was when we arrived at the course. It was going to be a gusty and windy front 9, but everything calmed down by the time we were on the back 9. The golf course was in great shape. Many pin placements were challenging, but that is what we should like, right? There was a slower foursome two groups ahead of us, and maybe they were delayed by a group in front of them. The pace of play worked out wonderfully to give our group time to socialize more.
Had a great day!
Great course. Love it everytime i get to play it.
Fall grass on greens made them a bit slow but true. Couse was wet everywhere due to evening rains.
Play here if you can!
Incredible value
My second time coming back to the course after the over seeding season. The course is alittle shaggy for those who are playing the tips, seems like they don’t get trimmed often, but overall a great time. I would like to see less rocks in the bunker but for a city course I think it’s completely understandable and in good condition. Would be happy to come back and go for a lower score.
Playable course in good condition
Nice layout in the desert, playable if you can keep your ball on the fairway, good value
Challenge with views
Played two days after reopening after over seeding. Course is challenging with lots of desert to lose balls in. Keep it in the fairway and you should be pleased with your result. Fairways and greens were excellent, especially for a city course.
Fix your ball marks people!
Course could use a mow and some flatter tee boxes but overall solid course for the price. Only complaint has to do with other golfers. They said it was their first day open from a reseed and still I fixed at least 5 ball marks on every green. "But I don't know how..." Learn. There's plenty of videos that will teach you and it's your responsibility to take care of the golf course. "But I don't have a divot tool" Use a tee. Every golfer has those. Or borrow one from someone in the group.
Unexpectedly Great Course
I had never golfed Fred Enke, 1 because it’s so far from my house and 2 because it’s not a course that I heard anyone talking about. We decided to snag a deal time here because several other courses were over seeding and I thought we’d give it a try. I am glad we did. This course was just so unexpectedly good and challenging for a city course. There are lots of doglegs and spilt fairways and tee boxes. So much good variation. I really fell in love with this course and the value is hard to beat. This was our second time golfing here. Liked it so much the first time, I had to come back before they closed. This course has a little bit of everything. Fun times.
Great course for the money.
The course has many different features that made playing it a lot of fun. Greens putted very well and pace of play was great until the last four holes.
Great Day
The course was in good shape, green’s good..had played the course 4 months earlier and played ok..Today had a great round..would definitely recommended this course and will for sure play it again when I come to town.
