Enjoyable
Fun “muni” that was in pretty good shape. Greens rolled pretty good and the overseeded rye grass in the fairways was in excellent shape. The two downers were the condition of the bunkers and pace of play. I would definitely play here again but I would play earlier to increase my chances for a good pace of play.
Course (good), play (slow)
The best shape I have seen it (in many years).
Only problem is slow play. Front 9 easier than back and speed of play reflects this.
Immediate slowdown on 10, and 14 (number 1 handicap) a snail’s pace.
Greens firm but putting quick and fair. Need to be below the hole.
As said, just pace of play issues. Great otherwise.
Course in great shape!
The course is in great shape after the overseeding. Pace of play was excellent!
Carts!
What happened to the carts!? We waited 30 minutes for carts. The real problem with this is the cart coordinator giving carts out to people with later tee times. If you have a shortage of carts then don’t release the carts until tee times. Get it together Tucson Golf!
Great Municipal Course
The Course is in Excellent Condition. Back 9 is definitely more difficult.
Enke in Great Shape!
I've played golf here many times over the past 12 years and I think this is the best shape I've ever found this course. Greens rolled fast and true, fairways green and tee boxes in good shape. The cart paths are mostly gravel, but that can be overlooked!
Reseeding done
Fairways, bunkers, good. Greens better. Tees uneven but playable. Carts rickety and paths nonexistent except where replaced by recent work improvements but this only encompasses half the length. Overall, nice desert golf, layout varied and presents different shots directionally. Clubhouse closes a bit early and drink cart as well, so be aware. Drinks are available in pro shop later in the day. Glad to see cups actually sunk in ground on practice green near first tee. Other larger green uses posts only. Nice experience, priced right.
Well designed and fair course.
This is great course to work on the fundamentals and improve your game!
