Fred Enke Golf Course

I've played golf here many times over the past 12 years and I think this is the best shape I've ever found this course. Greens rolled fast and true, fairways green and tee boxes in good shape. The cart paths are mostly gravel, but that can be overlooked!

Fairways, bunkers, good. Greens better. Tees uneven but playable. Carts rickety and paths nonexistent except where replaced by recent work improvements but this only encompasses half the length. Overall, nice desert golf, layout varied and presents different shots directionally. Clubhouse closes a bit early and drink cart as well, so be aware. Drinks are available in pro shop later in the day. Glad to see cups actually sunk in ground on practice green near first tee. Other larger green uses posts only. Nice experience, priced right.

This is great course to work on the fundamentals and improve your game!

Course was in great condition, had zero complains about the fairways in greens. You’ll probably lose a good amount of balls on this course, but you’ll most likely find more balls than you lose.

Should've known the course was overseeding and couldn't drive on the grass but it wasn't updated in the description when booking. No problem for me running everywhere to catch my hooks or slices. There's almost enough cart paths on edges to accommodate this. But it slowed the pace of play and waited a few mins at each hole.

The tour shop cashier and cart lady was very friendly and great.

Not my first time playing here but I don't remember most of these fairways being so thin. Feels like the course is more penalty areas. And often times I feel like I'm driving blind and uphill on most holes.

Overall fair if you get a deal time. After they're done overseeding and cut the grass the course will be more better.

Course was moderately busy and group I was paired with went off early. Was sent out as single which meant waiting on every hole. Up to 20 minutes.

This was a fun course but challenging. Lots of carry needed on several holes. Greens were a little rough but they are probably getting ready for over-seeding.

The course is not very well marked from green to tee, This was our first time playing it and we got lost a couple of times. More signs are needed because there are very few concrete/asphalt paths leading directly to the next tee box; most are dirt and there are a lot of them going in all directions.

Overall, a fun course to play and I would recommend it.

Course is not in good condition right now. A lot of dry patches. Tee boxes are not level and the green are really firm. Balls pretty much bounce right off

Haven’t been back in 15 years, great changes! A little more cleared out, better visibility, and despite the heat, better greenskeeping. Great value…just don’t close the doghouse on the turn at 1400 hrs! I was starving

Visting from Oceanside, CA. First time playing this course, and I was surprised of good overall condition. Greens are hard, good condition, and consistent. Fairways were little thin but overall good shape and value for play. Look forward to playing course again.

I know I wasn’t expecting a country club but I was referred here by several people in Tucson. I should not have gone…. Course was moderately challenging but I would have rather putted from the fairway then the greens. Not a true putt all round. And I know I shouldn’t expect 4 star service but I rushed through hole 9 to make the clubhouse before it closed at 5:30 so I could get water on a hot 90 plus degree round. I ran to the clubhouse door at 5:15 and they closed early and all the worker had to say was “yeah, sorry about that….” Very very poor service for a municipal course that I was recommended to
