The man working behind the counter was very rude, unprofessional. This was on a Sunday afternoon on April 24th. Talk to the manager in the phone and he seems nice, listen to my concerns.

SLOW PLAY - LOTS OG BEGINNERS HERE
THE COURSE WAS IN AWFUL CONDITION. HARDPAN EVERYWHERE .... GREENS WERE OK THOUGH
SLOW PLAY SLOW PLAY. ( 5 1/2 HOUR ROUND. ( IT WEAS A SUNDAY THOUGH). LOTS OF BEGINNERS AND GOLFERS WHOM SEEMED TO WANT TO DRINK MORE THAN PLAY. GOLF. OK LAYOUT BUT THIS IS A LOW MARKET MUNI COURSE. BE PATIENT HERE.

Horrible experience
First off, these guys are treating this course like it’s a top tier course like Torrey pines, the gentleman who owns or runs the place comes out after my buddies and I are taking pictures on the first tee box, and says, keep it moving guys, keep up with the pace of play, although the group ahead of us are in the way in the middle of the fairway. I got charged $20 because they requested it because they said I didn’t show up, which is funny because I have a picture with the date and time to prove them otherwise. The tee boxes are somewhat like a minefield, you might have a good spot, but your feet will be on little hills or uneven ground which makes it hard to get a good stance. People don’t fix divots in the fairways, some fairways are so dry, you might have better luck hitting from the cart path. Staff and everyone there is rude. I will never golf this course again, you could offer me a free round, I would rather hit a box of pro V1’s into the canyon than play here again.
Pace of play is simply terrible
Waited 10 to 15 minutes per hole just to hit.. Golfed with two other players. Went out at 11:20. We all picked up and walked off after 8 holes, 2 hours and 40 minutes later.. Course in poor condition with large patches of brown dirt dead center of the fairway..

Nothing new
The reviews I saw were pretty accurate. Course was in ok shape, pace of play was horrendous (they probably need to space their tee times more) and you would expect a better experience for the price.

Course in Terrible Shape
I have played here many times in the past and while the course is always challenging the shape the course is in made it worse. There are way too many bare spots which means a lot of the time you are hitting off of the dirt. The other challenge was the wait. 9 holes took 3 hours to play. We quit the round at the 11 determining that we did not want to play in the poor course condition and the long wait. We were coming to tees with two groups waiting to tee off. This is ridiculous and it appeared that the course marshal did nothing to improve the situation. Judging by the course condition and the waiting I doubt that I will play at this course for quite a while.

Worthy Muni
A pleasant round of somewhat challenging golf. #1 and #2 handicap holes are true to their designations. Greens very true with good speed

Fun time in the rain!
Played in the rain - was able to play all 18 in less than 3 hours. Greens were in great shape, fairways are improving!

Good value for the money
The course was in good condition despite the standing water on the cart paths and some of the fairways. The foursome ahead of us were slower than necessary and did not offer to have us play through.
It would have been nice to have a golf cart option in the prices offered.

Course in rough shape
Course was nice but very beat up. Could be really good but needs quite a bit of renovations.

3 hours for 9 holes
My review is only for the first 9 holes. No idea how the back 9 plays because after finishing hole number 9 in 3 hours and 4 minutes, I had to leave. Paid for 18 but figured a 6 hour pace of not what I signed up for.
I've been told it's a slow pace but I was not expecting it to be this bad.
