Chula Vista Golf Course

made this midwest couple feel right at home.hope to play there again.

It's a great course for those who like walking , it's also a good value and has some tricky holes that challenge you. It is one f my favorites.

Course conditions are ok, Can play long depending on the wind, greens were in good shape, also bunkers have good sand but need to be raked early in the am, snack stand good, pace of play was good this day, but can be slow if you're behind a lot of 5somes. I enjoyed the day playing with a good friend who lives in that area.

The cource is ok. the price is great.Would recommend to all

Play took just over 3 hours, but only because we tee'd off @ 0545. The group behind us fell 3 holes back. I'm sure everyone after our tee time played in over 4 hours.

The staff needs bettter actitudes and they do not offert good answers when I asked for options

I play various courses around San Diego. This has a fair number of par 5's but make-able for average golfer as course is pretty flat and no trick bunker placements. Pretty straight forward. Greens are nice and ball tracks well on putts. Hole placements challenging but not difficult. Fairways are relatively wide, open and in good condition. If you get a greens fee with cart for $32 or under, it's a pretty good deal for this area.

The course is in good shape. friendly staff. but what I don't get is why they over book it so much when means it slow play. we were waiting for at 10-15 min in most of the hole before we can tee off. People behind us were getting mad as well due to slow play.

Tee off at 10:30 AM on Sunday with no group ahead in sight and didn't see the group behind until the 9th hole. Very quick round <3.5 HRS. Pretty flat course with water and/or stream hazards on holes 1-5, 9-14, 17 and 18. If you slice your drive this is not the course for you! Staff was awesome and evident at all times. Will play this course again!

In general we had a good experience in this course.

It's a fun to course to play. Friendly staff members,nice practice set up but need just a little bit of improvement on range balls,but I'm sure it's already on the list for improvement. Definitely I will play again.

This was the absolute worst time i have ever had golfing. Pace of play their was just insane. Over 3hrs to complete 9 holes! I called the pro shop to complain about pace of play. It did not help. The group in front of us was literally a par 5 behind the group ahead of them. I found myself waiting 5-8 minutes between shots! The pro shop finally gave the group a warning and nothing changed. After the 9th hole, we went to complain to the pro shop and they could care less. i said well you have lost my business and i got my $5 cart deposit back and left. This course made golf not fun. Customer Service was horrible. They could of cared less.

Started out surprisingly smooth for a saturday.....Then caught up with a 3 some and they were waiting on a foursome and so on and so on. At the turn it really backed up and was snail pace from then to the end. There is alot of standing water and some kind of a resevior that really stinks for about 3 or 4 holes. Easy flat course but way over booked or not marshalled properly. I doubt if I will ever go back on a weekend.

Hadn't played here in a few months , and was pleased to see a great improvement in the conditions of the greens. Will be coming back soon !!

the course is in very good condition for the price. thegree is a lot faster han used to be hich make the golf course much better. some time it is busy so it can take more than 5 hours on the weekend, so i only play on weekdays.

Too bunched up and crowded, way too many groups sent out too close together...Very slow play, Very frustrating round of golf...

the blue tees are for a 10 handicap or better...the black tees and you better be a 4 or better...keep the ball in play...lots of water

Played a nice pace. The course was in good shape. I will be back for a early tee time.

First Time I played this course. This course is not super long, and I'm not a big hitter. Green were good, rolled nice. If you drift right on almost any hole you are in trouble. Stay In the Fairway. Fun course, looking forward to playing it again.

This course is older with lots of trees and water. Greens were in good shape and the fairways were average. I enjoyed the round as fairways are pretty wide and forgiving.
