Desert Falls Country Club

For a number of years, Desert Falls has not been in good shape, especially the greens. This year the whole course is in better shape than I have seen it in a long time. Take advantage of the course condition before the desert really heats up. The overall condition is very good, and the course is tough..

Arrived a little apprehensively after reading all the reviews. Lots of what was said about course conditions, paying for range ball, lack of water on the course was correct. However I really enjoyed the golf with 2 great guys I was paired with. This course could be a real gem with some investment. Greens a bit slow but needed to be with some of the slopes. Who buried the elephant o the top layer of a par 3!

Great value for money and would definitely return. Just accept it for what it is.

Be nice if something open just to get a coke or cart person

We try and to make part of our golf trip every time we come to the area.

In fact we are coming back June 11 for another golf trip and hope to make it part of our schedule.

This Ron Fream design is the best kept secret in the Coachella Valley. It’s got everything: long and short par 3s,4Ss and 5s, nice elevation changes with a nice mix of very challenging and birdieable holes. My only complaint is that they’ve removed the back tees. Although I’m passed the time for the back tees, I have friends from around the country who are plus handicappers and who I would love to bring to this course and challenge them.

We played on Saturday at 100 plus degrees and we brought one bottle of water with us and that was gone by the second hole. There was no water on the course until the after the fifth hole. The water jug was empty when we got there. We thought we could get some water at the turn but the snack bar was closed. The lack of water and amenities creates a risk to your health.The course conditions were edgy. The greens were good and the fairways were okay but there were many dead and barren spots off the fairways. Sadly disappointing.

I alway enjoy playing Desert Falls Golf Course.

Joe was very friendly and Helpful with our Golf Carts, and updating the Local Information.

May 10, 2023 was an extremely windy day.

The Overall Condition of the Course was Good, and the greens were very good.

For this time of year, the courses in good shape, and the greens were excellent.

We had a course to ourselves nobody in front nobody behind.

Course was a bit dry, but because of time of year I played. Early May. Teed off on time but waited on most holes as their was a scramble that went off earlier in the day. Would play it again .

They said the watering system was down and it was quite brown out there for early may, green ran fine, the snack shack was closed and I went straight there with no breakfast. That’s the way she goes some times.
