in short ruff ball sinks way too low as grass is thin

Whenever I'm in town for relaxation I always make time to play here, they have a good practice facility and the locals are friendly and the staff is very accommodating. The couse conditions have always been very good and pace of play is great. I noticed this last round there was some damage to some of the greens, at first I was upset because I thought this was from other golfers but I saw the culprits, some crows where pecking at the green like crazy, can't say why but at least it wasn't man made damage.

I would recommend, it has some challenging holes. Plenty of water hazards for a desert course. Facilities are clean and well maintained.

We enjoyed playing here again. Greens and fairways were in good condition. Very good pace of play

It appeared the course doesn’t get the same loving care as when owned by Club Corp. we’ve played this course for nearly 20 years anxx do it appeared areas like bunkers lakes and the rough areas were lacking in the same levrr er l of maintenance as in the past. It will be interesting to see if this course stays a very good option

The grass just off the fairways is very spongy and it was difficult to see the ball when it rolled off the fairway . I knew the general location of The ball, but I still lost two balls during my round due to this issue.

I played this course for the first time this week and was very frustrated with not knowing the layout of each hole. The scorecard map is too small. There is no GPS on the carts and no yardage markers on the fairways. It was difficult to know where to go after each green (again, signage required). All in all, it was a frustrating day for someone who had never played the course before.

The front none was in very poor condition tee boxes not cut, rough overly high. Back nine had been mowed recently. They appear to be letting the course burn out. I would avoid u til the fall.

Fin coarse. Just enough length and requires some coarse strategy and a good touch. Greens consistent and fair. Rough was challenging too.

Great layout but not in prime condition. Most likely staffing impacts from Covid. Definitely a course where you need to be in the fairway. Rough shots were recovery shots only. Greens were true but bumpy.

It sure looks like someone moved a lot of sand to build Desert Falls. It is the most contoured course I have played in the Palm Desert area. And big open fairways - couldn't afford that today - made for a fun round. I found the rough a bit brutal for a resort course - we spent too much time looking for balls that were just feet off the fairway. However, this probably says something about my game I don't want to hear. I would recommend this course.

I own a place in Desert Falls so I play the course often & for many years. Always enjoy the challenge!

If in Palm Desert I would recommend this course and layout. Condition of course was excellent and everyone was very friendly, enjoy the round allot.

Been playing here for over 20 years. This was the most disappointing round due to every tee shot being backed up for at least 10 minutes from hole 3 thru 17. We didn’t even bother playing 18 out of frustration. Never saw a Marshall once on the course to keep the pace moving. Unfortunately not the best experience on April 1.
