About
Located in Green Valley just a short drive south of Tucson, lies San Ignacio Golf Club. An Arthur Hills design, San Ignacio features well placed grass bunkers, dynamically shaped Bermuda fairways and some of the smoothest greens in Arizona. Known for the friendly nature of the course and the staff, San Ignacio is a favorite among the locals from the retirement community of Green Valley and nearby Tucson. The way the course rests naturally among the canyons, ridges and arroyos of the Santa Cruz River Valley pays tribute to the desert and the commanding views of the surrounding mountains. But be aware, the course can play very tight and any errant shot can fall short into many waiting greenside bunkers.

Good overall
Rain helping and only a few trouble area, number 18 fairway as an example. Bunkers improved, greens still show plugging and aren’t the best but hold well. Would like them smoother.
Pace was slow early, equaled out and ended properly. Good restaurant and staff.
Pretty well run outfit, too many unfixed ball marks but with plugs a bit hard to see, but no excuses.
Have always liked the course layout, challenging without being brutal, and scenic as well.
Beautiful Course
The course was in such great condition. The driving range was even in beautiful and well kept. As a high handicap player and playing this course for the first time, I found the course challenging to play but still very much enjoyed it. The holes were unique and interesting and the views were beautiful. I highly recommend playing San Ignacio.

Always in good condition but greens a little bumpy. Traps could use a little more sand.

Arrived and was advised we would be playing the front 9 twice . They said it was posted on their website
Very Humid Day- slow play
Thank you to the 4some and 5some in front of us, letting us go through. We were fine until we got to the 14th hole and caught up with 2 - 4somes . Very slow play.

If you play this course...you will want to come back and play it again.
Great layout, very good condition for fairways and greens. The course will test your ability but in a fair way. Keep it in the fairway and the greens are very puttable and true....medium speed. See you there and have fun.
