Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club - Ghost Creek Course
About
Located 25 minutes west of downtown Portland, Oregon, Pumpkin Ridge blends in with the natural beauty of the farmland.
The Ghost Creek Course is a golfer's dream; four sets of tees on each hole to challenge every golfer; continuous cart paths for convenience and ease of play; architecture in the "old style" leaving the land completely natural; vistas of the Cascades, Coast Range and Tualatin Hills, together with the farmland of the Tualatin Valley, create the ultimate aesthetic experience.
In addition, the Ghost Creek facility has it's own clubhouse, practice range and golf shop, nationally recognized teaching professionals, and is a full service golf outing facility.

Bargain raining day
Pumpkin Ridge always delivers regardless of the weather. We ended up only, and who know how, paying 37 bucks for a tee time.
Aeration had occured perhaps 2 weeks back but the greens and fairways were nicely trimmed. The Greens themselves had a surprising amount of speed.
Only downside today was the rate of play as it was easily the slowest round I've ever played out there. The front 9 took close to 2.5 hours as the 4some in front of us was abismally slow. Here's a thought, if nobody in your group can get off the tee more than 150 yards maybe you should play either an easier course or at the least the front tees.
We decided to play the front 9 again as we waited on 10 for over 15 minutes. The second front 9 only took us 1.5 hours as a 3some.
Overall great round, will obviously return again.
SLOW PLAY ALERT!!!
Pumpkin Ridge is a high end course West of Portland. I have played this course probably 10 times this summer, thanks to TeeOff's deals. Never until this month has there been a pace of play issue, but the last 2 times (including today) the number of players on the course far exceeded the chance of an enjoyable round. By the 12th hole today there was a 2 group wait on the tee box! It might help if this "high end" course would pay a ranger to monitor the pace of play. The pro shop seemed disinterested with my observations. The course itself is very worthy of you playing, but be prepared for very difficult thick rough if you miss the fairway! I will be back to play, but hope this pace of play improves!
Beautiful
This was the most beautiful course I’ve ever played, and immaculately maintained. My friends and I were happy to receive a free bucket of balls to warm up with. The carts were extremely comfortable. The weather was perfect.
The only thing I was surprised by was that we never crossed paths with the drink cart, which felt strange to us.
We’ve decided to play there at least once a year from now on. The only reason we wouldn’t play there more often is because it’s a little further from us than most courses in the area, and the cost is a little above our average.
need some service
Check in and had no starter so all the groups were back up, if we didn't go through it would have been a 5 1/2 hour round which is to long.
No water and no beverage cart so on a 87 degree day it was horrible.
I don't understand you have a great golf course but no service.
At Langdon farms service it's much better for a lot less in price.
Will not be back anytime soon. Golfer that plays over 85 rounds per year.
Golf now sucks
Nothing against Pumpkin Ridge as we all know that is a nice golf course. However, they had been closed for a week due to poor air quality in the pdx area due to wildfires but golf now sold me a tee time anyway. I drove 30 miles out there only to find the gates closed. Shame on you Golf Now!!!!
Worth a visit
Another round at Ghost Creek, great course.
Even during an unprecedented weather condition (the high eastern winds “event”) - the course was in great condition. The staff did a tremendous job cleaning the course of debris from the high winds experienced across the state of Oregon. There were still quite a lot of smaller limbs and lots of leaves - but they were actively falling throughout the entire round.
No damage to the playing areas of the course, the maintenance of the tee boxes, fairways and greens - thank you for working hard to keep your track in top form.
If you haven’t played this course, do yourself a favor and get a round in - you won’t be disappointed!
5/5, 10/10, 100/100 to the staff at GC.
Another great trip to Pumpkin Ridge GC
Another great trip to Ghost Creek at Pumpkin Ridge GC. The only complaint was the driving range being closed - but I expected it as it typically is on Monday’s - and to their credit, they had numerous staff members working on it to expedite the process.
The course was in phenomenal condition, yet again, from tee to green and everything in between. Even with the bunkers lacking rakes, they appeared to be in good condition (only found one, it played great and looked like all others for condition). Some credit goes to players there as well for self policing on their cleanup after use.
Greens were typical Pumpkin - fast and smooth - with very few pitch marks and even fewer after our group left each green. All players should fix at least 5 pitch marks and there wouldn’t be any left to fix, you know? Great job to the staff of Pumpkin Ridge, and to patrons as well for caring about this enjoyable and challenging at times, course.
5/5, 10/10, 100/100
Good day to play golf.
Very nice weather. Course is in very good condition. The proshop staffs never make you feel welcome, too arrogant. Little smile to your customers will not kill you.
Nice Course! But not perfect
Nice course - the layout is good! With the exception of the green on 17th to tee box on 18th.
Course conditions - tee boxes - good, fairways - good, rough - mostly good, the greens have been sanded several times this year, and are below expectations - and somewhat slower than average.
Amenities - OK - taking into account COVID. Pace of play - somewhat slow.
Afternoon golf
The course is beautiful. The pace of play today was terrible. The group ahead of us was on pace then slow and took forever on the greens. They drove their cart everywhere and still took a long time to get the hole over. Almost 5 hours starting at noon to play is unacceptable. I think this course is overrated for the money. Sorry.
