Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club - Ghost Creek Course
About
Located 25 minutes west of downtown Portland, Oregon, Pumpkin Ridge blends in with the natural beauty of the farmland.
The Ghost Creek Course is a golfer's dream; four sets of tees on each hole to challenge every golfer; continuous cart paths for convenience and ease of play; architecture in the "old style" leaving the land completely natural; vistas of the Cascades, Coast Range and Tualatin Hills, together with the farmland of the Tualatin Valley, create the ultimate aesthetic experience.
In addition, the Ghost Creek facility has it's own clubhouse, practice range and golf shop, nationally recognized teaching professionals, and is a full service golf outing facility.

Ghost Creek, great venue
I had some time open up, so I booked this round at Pumpkin Ridge Ghost Creek. It just so happened that it was a little over a week since the LIV Tour was there. Played 12 of the tournament holes. Pretty awesome playing with the grandstands still up, am a 5.4 handicap, shot 74 from the Blue Tees. Fairways and greens were beautiful, greens broke less than expected. Well worth the money, had an awesome time……
Fantastic
Incredible course. Well worth the drive. From the tee to the cup, I didn’t see one blade of dead grass or trash or leaves or anything out of place. The cart girl came around a lot. This course mostly had walkers but I got a cart. It wasn’t busy at all, a Tuesday at 230PM. Nobody in front of me until I got to the 11th. There was no starter, which was weird. The Clubhouse/Bar is not what I expected for such a well known course, almost like a diner. But we’ll worth the money.
Best course conditions
I wanted to play right after the LIV tournament, as I know it would be in tremendous shape. It did not disappoint. The fairways were the best I've ever played on. The greens were perfect. Pace of play was good too. Played it in just under four hours. Very glad I had the chance to play at that time.
Greens are amazing
Both times that I have played here, the greens have been in amazing shape. Some of the truest rolling surfaces you will play in the Portland area.
TPC quality in Portland area
The course was in spectacular condition, getting ready for the LIV Tour in a few weeks. Only draw back was the range was closed which I wish they would have notified me before my hour drive there, I ended having to putt and chip for an hour and half
Immaculate Greens
I’ve played over 300 courses, and these .greens are within the top 3 of the truest and smoothest, and in the best condition, I’ve ever seen. Firm but will hold a well hit shot. Truly stunning. Think Augusta.. it’s a beautiful track, many holes through the forest and not a house on site. The only negative is almost all of the ubiquitous “creeks” on the course are dry by design (hence ghost). Still hazards, but not as pretty as a water filled creek. Staff is superior.
GolfNow
Golfnow doesn’t give you an option. if one of your Friends doesn’t show up you have to pay their greens fees anyway.
Course is in excellent condition. Clubhouse is under renovation so limited services inside for food etc.
Great course
One of the nicest public courses in the area. Staff was friendly, the range was very nice and golf carts were awesome. Very traditional Willamette valley course with thick rough.
Nice course, but wish conditions were better
Course was really nice, but fairways were really soggy despite having just been punched. Cart path only as that would have destroyed the course.. Got the first tee time, so played quickly. Nicely designed for the most part, but wish the cross ditch on 17 that you can't see wasn't there. Didn't see a beverage cart in the hours I was there. Pro shop was pleasant.
