Highlands at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa
About
Grand Geneva Resort & Spa boasts two championship golf courses. The Brute Course is a formidable test while the Highlands Course presents a more player-friendly layout though it still has plenty of challenges in store. Jack Nicklaus and Pete Dye teamed up to design the Highlands. It is a traditional links-layout that is tumbles across glacier-carved hills and valleys. It perfectly mimics the feel of courses of the British Isles especially on the undulating greens that are flanked with bunkers. The course is playable for all skill levels though low handicappers looking for a challenge might want to tackle the Brute. The resort has garnered a popular following amongst both locals and visitors. Conde Nast Traveler ranked it in the top ten northern US golf resorts and that is just one of the many accolades Grand Geneva Resort & Spa has received.

Great Course & Beautiful setup great greens well maintained
Wonderful experience!
The experience and facilities at Grand Geneva are top notch!
It's always a pleasure to play the Highlands with its tough greens and elevation changes that are always challenging. The course was in very nice condition and maintained as always and I've never had a bad experience here! Highly recommend!!
Great Course - Great Staff -Great Experience
I always enjoy playing this course. Beautifully maintained and the staff makes the experience so enjoyable.
Well kept, challenging course.
I love the Highlands! About 1000 yards shorter than the resorts other Course The Brute, but a well kept thinking man's course.
Busy day for one of their "Hot Dates" in August!
A very busy day for one of their "Hot Dates" in August!
Great Course ... Always a enjoyable round on the Highlands Course. Friendly and helpful staff. Great day on Great course!
Always a pleasure to play at Grand Geneva. Course in great shape. The complimentary range access and GPS makes the day even better.
Highlands at Grand Geneva was in very good condition.
Played the Highlands at Grand Geneva this past July 4th holiday weekend. Course played very fast and was in great condition. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I will return as soon as my schedule allows with GolfNow deals its hard to pass up.
Wisconsin golf at its finest
Great course for the money. Saw plenty of wildlife. No homes on the course make it feel as if you are talking a walk thru the countryside. You may even have a plane take off from the small airport on the property.
Greens were in great shape and fast. Most pin placements were in decent spots.
Will continue to play this course
delightful
absolutely beautiful course. The rough is tough, and the greens are sometimes hard to read, but the course is in great condition. I got a great price on golfnow, so it was well worth it. Probably wouldn't pay the normal price to play here.
course management a must
Their are two courses at The Grand Geneva Resort, The Brute and the Highlands. Pricing makes you think the Brute is better ($169/Brute $125/Highlands) but even the pro's here prefer the Highlands because it takes more skill to work your way around the course to give yourself the proper angles to shoot low. The Brute on the other hand is more wide open and designed to gaudy with HUGE greens, HUGE fairways and HUGE bunkers. both great courses but the Highlands is for shot producers.
Very fair, yet challenging course
Staff is wonderful, range is great, and the course is a good design. Its very playable, yet does demand a variety of shots.
