Golfer Reviews
Decent Course
Fun layout with nice rolling greens but don't expect country club like conditions and some of the tee boxes and fairways were pretty shoddy (bare dirt spots, weeds). I can't remember, but one tee box was literally artificial mats. Back in the 90's this course was top-notch but nowadays I'd only play with an extremely low golfnow hotdeal.
Course is in great shape
Always enjoy playing here
Course is in great shape
Front plays easier than back
Nice Surprise
I enjoyed the course. Not very long but some interesting holes. Greens were in good shape. The staff was very friendly. The only negatives I could find was you have to walk across the street to the driving range, you cannot take your cart, and the fairways needed to be cleaned, clumps of grass from the mowers were common. Overall enjoyed the course and will go back.
Two Very Different Nines
The front is wide open, while the back is very tight.
Depending on time of the year the back can have a lot of biting bugs. Bring Off or equivalent.
Greens ran true.
Great course and price is good.
Hidden gem of a course that has some very challengeing holes. My friend told me about this course a few years ago and try to get back at least 4 to 6 times a season.
Great Value Nice Atmosphere
Great Value and the greens are in really good shape. Staff is courteous.
A wonderful coiurse
This is a great golf course--one of mine and my wife's favorites. Very scenic (back nine), excellent maintenance, a great golf experience--tee positions for all skill levels (keep an eye open for foxes and deer!)
Good otherwise rain
Because of last night thunderstorm rain, the stream was flooded.
And mosquitoes were too many.
But, this course is good, I like this.
Short Hitters - Play from the Whites!
Played the course for the 1st time. I elected to play the blue tees - a mistake for this Senior golfer. 6 holes have significant carries (170+) over wetlands. Course was in great shape. The only criticism I have is that the 67 billion mosquitos living in the wetlands were a major distractor!
Two Courses in One
This is a fun course. The front nine is significantly easier than the back.
We got stuck behind a very slow foursome, so the pace was bit frustrating. That can happen anywhere.
The staff is super friendly and helpful.
Golf is great
Great place to spend a few hours even though the temps were just in the 50's and there was a pretty hefty wind (always against you). Golfers were few, but conditions were excellent considering we're only a couple weeks into the season. Staff was first class and rates were super. Highly recommend this course. Will be back several more times this year.
Great course fun to play excellent staff.
Challenging enough from the tips for an experienced golfer easy enough from the fronts for the beginner great variety.
This is an excellent course.
Great value for the money through golfnow. I will definitely put this course in my top 5 and plan on frequently playing again next year.
Very nice course
Course is in great shape. Very friendly staff and players as well. Can't beat the golf now pricing. The back is challenging with a number of shorter 90 degree holes that require accurate distance control.
Enjoyable course to play, some challenging and risk/reward holes
Front nine is more open and less challenging than the
back nine which offers more seclusion, scenery, and
woodlands.
Nice course, friendly staff.
This is a well maintained course which appears to be easy from the front 9, then you realize the back 9 is where the challenge is. Staff was helpful and friendly.
Links and Woods
I paid $11 and would do that any day. The front nine was incredibly easy and an average attempt at a links style course. The back nine was much more scenic with plenty of trees and the typical grooming issues of a public track. They just vertical cut the greens which created a bumpy roll to the cup.
