About
LakeRidge Golf Course is a Robert Trent Jones course that has consistently been voted the "Best of Reno" ever since it first opened in 1969. Though the course sits less than five miles from downtown, the surrounding mountains provide a tucked-away feel. There are some stunning views from the elevated tees but don't get too distracted, this challenging course demands your attention. Mature trees tower over the fairways but they are thankfully wide enough to offer a little room for error. Water comes into play frequently and there are strategically placed bunkers lurking along the undulating greens. Accuracy is essential at LakeRidge Golf Course. The signature hole is the par-3 15th. This tee sits atop a rocky ridge that is perched 140 feet above Lake Stanley. You'll be playing downhill to an island green on this challenging but scenic hole.

Really wanted this to be better
First let me say, I got a hot deal and for that price, the value was worth it.
Now for the course, its a great layout and normally in great condition but this day, they were watering on every hole and it was like playing in the mud all day. None of us could understand the reasoning behind mid day watering in 95 degree heat but I'm sure they had thier reasons. It really brought the quality of conditions down and was the main reason for the 3 in conditions rating.
Ill be back but hopefully they water in the early morning or evening.
Terrible slow day
How do you let a group of 5 go out in the middle of the a busy day during summer and not monitor them at all. We had to wait 10 plus minutes on every tee box. Not only should a 5 some not be playing but they are slow too. Plus we only saw the beverage cart 1 time on hole 3. If you were going home so early, you should let people know. Bad experience.
Great Course but no Cart Girl
Great course but the play was slow and no cart girl the entire round. Tee time was 2:36 and it was hot.
The staff was excellent, just hot and thirsty. Glad I brought a couple bottles of water.
Great course. Challenging holes. Beautiful scenery. I will definitely Plat this course again.
Island Hole Pars
Course was in excellent shape. Pace of play was slow until signature hole, after that it picked up and finishing went well.
Tough part is the driving range is closed - making it difficult to warm up and get swing prepared properly. Recommend driving nets either before first hole or at old driving range.
Lakeridge
Always love playing Lakeridge in Reno. Thanks GoldNow for giving me an economical option
Pace of play and starting on the back.
The pace of play is always ridiculous I think they overbook the course. Also they always start everybody on the back nine because of tournaments and it’s a joke
