LakeRidge Golf Course

Very little snow left from a heavy snowstorm a few weeks ago. Course was in very good condition, considering freezing, snowy weather. Greens were still partially frozen, making them ultra fast. Tee boxes were frozen, making tee insertion very difficult. Overall, it played great and no big issues.

For the money I paid via TeeOff Golf, this was a great deal

Fun course with a lot of elevation shots and some tough pin placements. Greens were mushy, we could see foot prints if we walked too hard, or leaned over to fix a ball mark and now have a foot sized mark…

Tough to get 18 holes in if you go off at 1:00 or so with pace of play. We got in 15 just barely before dark. Waited on every hole. Carts had to be headed back by 4:45. So have to get out by noon on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.or you won’t finish.

Longest round ever. I was single that was put behind three 5 somes. I called the pro shop to get help they said there were no Marshalls to help and to just go around group. I was confronted with anger by the groups even after telling them what the pro shop manager said to do! I will not be golfing there ever again!!!!!

I love golf but not enough to get disrespected just trying to play golf!!!

Be aware ask prior to starting round. I was told no wait go when ready. Ridiculous.

We play this course regularly during our visits up to Reno. Starter got us out a few minutes early - much appreciated!

FYI - there is a large population of Canadian geese on the course, so beware of their droppings!

Also, carts are required to be returned right at sunset, as it gets dark fast on the course. One of the groups behind us asked to play the last hole with us, which made for a somewhat frenzied finish.

Got out about 25 minutes earlier than scheduled thanks to an observant starter. Unfortunately, the round took 5 hours to play due to the slow play of the foursome in front of us. At least the weather was beautiful and our threesome enjoyed each other's company.

The Marshall is lazy and doesn’t do his job. Watched three groups skip 9 to pass us and clog up hole 15. We did not stop at the turn. By the time we got home it was still light enough out to play, and he forced us to stop three holes short of finishing and proceeded to yell at my uncle and not offer up any semblance of anything to make up for him wanting to get off early. Shame. Never been more angry at a Marshall. He wasted one of the best rounds of my life because he was too lazy to do his job another 30 minutes. Light allowed for it. He just is terrible at his job and needs to be replaced with someone with the energy to finish a days work with a smile. Simply embarrassing that such a good course has an employee like that bringing them down.

Excellent course. Crowded but it was a Sunday afternoon

Beautiful golf course; mature trees, well-kept grass, great views of the Truckee Meadows. Gas powered carts that put electric carts to shame in terms of power around the course. Fast, efficient check in, competent, friendly starter. GPS would be a valuable resource, especially for first time or infrequent players. But, we had to wait at least 5 minutes to tee off on nearly every hole, leading to a 5-hour round of golf on a weekday afternoon.
