Wolf Run Golf Club

About
Wolf Run Golf Club is one of south Reno's most popular courses. The course is situated amid the Sierra Foothills, tumbling across a picturesque desert landscape sprinkled with native flora. The layout has many risk-reward opportunities and the par-3 holes are especially fun. The hilly terrain is as scenic as it is challenging, providing some tricky uneven lies and there is a meandering creek that slithers along the fairways. Though it's wide open, the golf course requires a bit of accuracy and some good course management. The elevated tees offer some spectacular views as well as some intimidating approaches to the fast, undulating greens. In addition to the golf course, Wolf Run also has a practice facility with a driving range and putting and chipping greens. You can also get your clubs repaired on site.

STOLE MY MONEY
I booked a tee time here. I could not make the tee time so I canceled over 24 hours in advanced. Canceled my tee time and never refunded my money. Called the pro shop to get my money back he said my tee time is gone and can’t find my name on the tee sheet. I emailed everyone and no answer back. Horrible service. Sucks won’t be going back here.
Once again Wolf Run was fun
It could be that I broke 90 for the second time in two months or the fact that I was playing very well (for me). All but one hole was excellent, and that hole, after 4 pars and a birdie, reached out and brought me back to earth with the dreaded snowman!
Other than that, the course is naturally brown in the dead of winter cold, but the greens are well maintained and the pace of play was good, even for a "warm" sunny Sunday.
Wolf Run is my go to course in Reno. My only complaint, if you can call it that are using mats for the driving range rather than natural grass. It is a minor thing, but it is the only thing I could think of that was a negative. Play it yourself, you will not be disappointed!
Same old stuff, but worth it!
Wolfrun is a challenging course for the average and above average golfer. It is just fun to play any time and you need to give yourself a treat and play it!
Winter Golf
WolfRun is a good golf course, with homes along several of its fairways, but set back so as not to be too much of a problem for most golfers. It is winter, so the greens are hard from the cold air, but your drives, if you hit the fairway run forever. It is a challenging course for a high handicapper, but it is fun and you will not go wrong playing a round there.
Practice Putting Greens
I always like to practice my putting before a round of golf. They had there practice greens closed for some reason.
The greens are very challenging
Overall we had a great time. The course was laid out nicely and challenging.
Great course
First time playing, greens were very fast. Beautiful views, course in good condition.
