About
LakeRidge Golf Course is a Robert Trent Jones course that has consistently been voted the "Best of Reno" ever since it first opened in 1969. Though the course sits less than five miles from downtown, the surrounding mountains provide a tucked-away feel. There are some stunning views from the elevated tees but don't get too distracted, this challenging course demands your attention. Mature trees tower over the fairways but they are thankfully wide enough to offer a little room for error. Water comes into play frequently and there are strategically placed bunkers lurking along the undulating greens. Accuracy is essential at LakeRidge Golf Course. The signature hole is the par-3 15th. This tee sits atop a rocky ridge that is perched 140 feet above Lake Stanley. You'll be playing downhill to an island green on this challenging but scenic hole.

Worth your time
Fun layout, lots of different shots needed. The signature Par 3 island green is a gem. Above average muni course.
Greens
The greens were in fantastic shape. Most all fairways were wet and balls would plug off the tee regularly but that didn’t take away from the experience.
Awesome greens
Very nice course and was reasonable during the week thru golf now. This course is as nice as they come for hot now deal and monthly golf pass coupon. I plan on playing again hopefully soon.
Geese and excessive poop...
Too many geese and poop everywhere. Fix that issue and get 5 stars for sure.
Very wet
We're having a little heat wave, so they are watering the heck out of the fairways. Other than the wet fairways, it was a nice day. The greens were beautiful.

Course definitely worth playing.
Was a single in the first group off on a Wednesday morning at a course that I have never played. Everyone at LakeRidge Golf Course in Reno, Nevada was very welcoming and the course was in excellent condition except for the geese everywhere. Their signature 16th hole, an elevated par three 220+ yards looking down at a green surrounded by water is breathtaking and definitely worth making a return trip. I highly recommend playing this course if you are planning to be in the Reno area.
Lakeridge
Course in good condition, but so many unfilled divots on the fairways. Come on people. Also, they need to something about all the geese and geese poop on the course.!

Lots of watering
Course was in pretty good shape with lots of watering and maintenance going on. Several lies were on wet turf. Greens were in great shape.
Great course, members run rampant
This was a great course and in great condition. Approaching the first tee their was a 5some on the tee box. We asked the starter if that was acceptable, he said they are members and they will do what they want. The starter said it would still be a 4 hour round. Another solo member rolled through to join the group in front of the 5some to make 2 groups of members as 5somes. We didn't finish until after 5 hours.
