Good recreational course
The greens are in good condition although a little slow whilst the fairways are becoming bare in places. The bunkers are hard and in desperate need of more sand (but we did see a sand and gravel delivery truck arrive as we teed off the first)
Great value!
I've played here a handful of times and have always walked away wondering what happened on the back nine...but I still had fun. This course has a lot of mature trees and they all come in play so accuracy off the tee...especially on the back nine...is crucial. The only reason I'm not giving it a higher rating is because it could use some work but, overall, it's a great value for the money. The weather is usually nice in Fallbrook and it's never been too crowded. I'll definitely play there again.
Great course with good variety.
This course is fun and not too challenging for the average guy. Nice par 3 to close it out.
Play it
Course and club house improving. New owner seams to care about the playing conditions. Would recommend to anyone to play it.
Fun Course
This course was nice. Good for the $ and fairly challenging. Most holes are starlightas an arrow . I would play again.
The Fallbrook Golf Club is one of the best deals in North San Diego County.
The staff is always friendly. The greens are always well maintained, and the mature trees only enhance the golfing experience. I believe the Fallbrook Golf Club is North Sand Diego County's best value.
Great Price!
Very relaxing and friendly atmosphere and easy course. Great price.
Could have been better.
Course was horrible. fairways was not that for sure. grass need to be attended to. water area had no water. golf carts were horrible. need alot of TLC. The need to make the course look like what the have on their guides.
Good value
I have played here numerous times. Older course good for the average golfer and walkable. Greens are in good shape. Green fees are very reasonable. The surrounding area is hilly with nice views. Good reasonably priced restaurant.
Nice setting
Clubhouse opened late - driving range balls were old. Too many trees blocked fairway tee shots - could be opened up a bit.
always enjoy this course especially the back nine
the only weak spots are #9 and # 18 both par threes
Lots of trees
Good course for accurate hitters. A lot of tree lined fairways. Greens in good shape, bunkers not so much.
Challenging but fun.
Interesting layout. Little tolerance for slice or hook.
Beautiful day
Conditions were great. Played fast - under 4 hours for a Sunday. Sored well, a big bonus
This course is a beautiful country course
We thought it would be a slow play on a holiday weekend, but it was great. The Marshall kept everyone moving along. The course is in good condition and plays fairly. It has many challenging holes, but is good for the beginner. Great course at a great price!
The greens are OK most of the fairways needs attention
Overall I like the course, I wish the soil on the fairways was not so hard, most of the time my hands hurt after the swing.
Fairways need a little help.
Nice course layout and mostly flat. Greens were fairly good even though they were sanded. They should be great soon. Fairways need some help-they have several types of grass (weeds) mixed in and some very thin areas. Had fun playing this course.
Fallbrook Golf Club Hidden Bliss
Tucked away in a wooded area of North San Diego the Fallbrook Golf Club golf course is a great place to enjoy a day of golf. Moderate in its challenge it will test your skills. The course is well maintained and the staff is always great. Trees line pretty much every hole. And some trees are in the fairways that will challenge your skills. If you go left or right on the box you might as well hit a provisional as thick wooded areas abound. One hole has a blind tee box with a very narrow treed opening. Get ready for a very enjoyable round.
Nice course for the money.
Old school course that is a bunch of fun. The par 5's are short, under 500 yards, but the trees and hazards are designed to put some teeth into the holes.
