A Tale of 2 Nines
The pro shop starter told me this, and it turned out to be dead on. The front nine plays mostly wide open with a few trees to challenge some angles of approach. The back nine has 4 holes that are very narrow so that driving accuracy is important. It was a fun course which I played for the first time.
Excellant course for a reasonable price.
Great course, convenient to home, great food at the restaurant.
Great little course that enjoy playing.
Friendly staff and great value. I always enjoy playing this course. It is quiet and peaceful with a good amount of challenge.
good course for value
Staff was friendly and even let me get out a little early. very good course for the money.
Course set-up was good
Although there were some rough patches off the fairways other than that it was fairly well maintained. It fit my eye well and good shots were well rewarded.
very good
A good old fashion country course w/o all the cement paths.
lots of pretty oaks
"OLD SCHOOL PERSONALITY", mature trees, creative design, quiet, relaxing, yet competetive
SSHH... don't tell anyone about this "little gem"!
good value
greens were punch when play, nice course except holes 0ne and nine
Way over booked which meant very slow play
We started 30 minutes behind our t-time. Play was so slow due to an earlier tournament. We had to quite after the front 9
took us almost 31/2 hours. We would have never finished.
Conditions were terrible. Pro shop should schedule play according to realistic play time and not just the dollar !!!!
They need to consider the players they leave hanging.
No consideration for those of us that NEVER finish there.
We wont go there again. Were done.
BEST I'VE EVER SEEN THE COURSE GREENS WERE PURE
PLAYED 36 HOLE HAD A GREAT TIME AND THE REPLY RATE OF $14 WAS WELL WORTH IT. SHOT 86 AND 87.
Great locals course!
Have always enjoyed playing this course! Back nine is more challenging, but still very playable. Greens are usually acceptable, bunkers not so much. Lots of beginners play this course, so I usually spend time replacing divots, raking bunkers and fixing ball marks. Pace is not usually an issue, even with the beginners. I HATE the power lines on the first tee. Have hit them countless times! Usually a very good value.
requires accurate shots, but course is fair
Friendly people and course conditions were very good for this time of year. Course has numerous trees which drop leaves this time of year which makes locating balls off the fairway a challenge at times. Enjoyed the course, but will require a few more rounds to "master" it.
Excellent value
The course is fun to play. Overall, the setting is pleasing. The fairways were in below average condition, and the greens were average, but there was a good mixture of easy and challenging holes. The staff was very friendly and the price was very low, so the course was a great bargain.
The course is in good shape and the people are great.
I would recommend this course to my friends. The cost is low and the people are very helpful.
I don't care for your method of scoreing the course. I must mark very LOW or very HIGH or in the middle. Nothing in between can be marked.
Great Value
Course is in good shape. Very fast pace of play. Challenging hole lay out. Staff very friendly
Fun course
Back 9 very challenging. Lots of oak trees make it beautiful and ya gotta love the huki lau restaurant
best shape in years
greens and fairways good shape. Played in fair time 4:20. will play again while daylight savings time. Cost and speed of play were reasonable for Sunday afternoon in So Cal.
REGULAR PLAYERS
We think this course is one of the best values in North County We play at least 2-3 per month. Most of the time the pace of play is good. We always tell friends about the course.
Played 3 times this month.
Great golf course for practice rounds
The course has two courses within. The East Nine is a straight forward novice welcoming nine. The West nine is more challenging with more hazards and narrow fairways.
Better than expected
The course was in better condition than expected. Early morning play seems like the best bet (before it gets hot). It's a fun course, no real major challenges.
The first tee is the only complaint, it is a strange tee shot over the road with power lines overhead right in the path of your shot. I drilled the power lines on the the first shot and the others I played with barely missed the power lines. Made for an annoying start to the day but after that we had a great time.
