Championship at Viewpoint Golf Resort

Lady in pro shop very friendly and helpful. Tee boxes were airiated and dry. Weather here has been dry dry dry and extra hot. Need rain very badly. Considering weather, climate ect, the course was good. will go back again next week. New ball washers with clean water in them. When you check in you get cup of ice with water, plus plenty ice in your golf cart cooler. Good value.

The greens are fine but the fairways are in terrible condition. Considering the condition of the course, they are asking too much money.

Staff was good though no starter on duty and no player services person just a very nice lady at the desk. Greens were quite good but the fairways and tee boxes were literally nothing but dirt! Too bad. Was good in its day but today...absolutely horrible. Was $30 was worth maybe $20! Waitress in fat Willie's was good though. I won't play there for a long while!

Greens are super fast, alot of the Teeboxes have been ariated and are in rough shape, as well as parts of the fairways. Although during the winter months the course is beautiful

This may have been my 50th + time playing Viewpoint and it’s never been in worse shape. I’ve played it in every season and in the hottest summers and course today was dreadful. Every fairway was dead and bald/mud. Greens were inconsistent (fast or slow). There’s always been issues with ants, but never like this. We got bit on the first tee box and then almost every other one after that. We love the course but I wouldn’t play it anytime in the near future.

Fun course. Disappointed that the grill wasn’t open early morning. Had potato chips for breakfast. LOL

Been playing here 20 years. This is the worst condition I’ve ever seen here. Fairways have no grass, greens are patchy and bumpy. Traps are clay. It’s a shame, use to be one of my favorites. I won’t return for at least 3 months. I hope they get it together.

We play this course a lot and normally it’s in good shape but today it was muddy, lots of bare areas, tee boxes and greens patchy. I’m hoping it’s just because we’ve had terrible drought!

Fairway was all dried out. Hard to find grass to pit ball on. More grass on rough. Won’t play this course again until sufficient rain has fallen. I like it but not under current conditions.

Looking at the positives, the greens were in great shape. Although the pace was slow, we still finished in 3 hours.

The fairways on the other hand were awful. They may be doing something withering grass, but we rarely found grass in the fairway.

It was worth the $10 hot deal, but probably not $11.

Greens were great. A few fairways were aerated and had some dirt patches but overall able to hit off them. Course was empty so very fast play and a great easier track in good summer condition

I can’t say anything but great things about my round. If I had to say anything, it would be the lack of fairway grass. Hard pan everywhere.

This is the second week in a row we played there & will probably play there again next week & at least 5 or 6 more times over the summer.
