About
The Viewpoint Golf Resort offers both a championship course as well as an executive golf course. The Championship Course provides a fair test of skill of golfers of any skill level with generous, rolling fairways lined with trees and some greens that are severely sloped from back to front. With numerous sand bunkers and water hazards that come into play in the form of three lakes and a small creek, the course definitely makes strategic shot-making a priority. The course also provides a scenic atmosphere for the game with panoramic mountain views and cascading waterfalls throughout. Viewpoint Golf Resort's Championship course is easy to walk and there are four sets of tees for a variety of different golfing options.

Many fairways lacked grass. Greens had inconsistent speed. Some of the tee boxes need work
Good Value
A good value in east Mesa; pace of play very good; greens in good shape but fairways are starting to dry out from the heat; friendly staff and good eats in the club house; playable for all player levels.

Course could use more grass on the fairway but overall a great round
Nice track
Nice course and good value for the money! Pace of play isn't always the quickest, as there are a lot of older folks who golf here. Hasn't stopped my enjoyment of the course thus far though. I'll definitely be back!
Very dissatisfied
Hit our drives in fairway but there wasn’t any grass. Almost want to get in the rough to has some grass under ball. The course was in terrible shape. Tees were also in bad shape no grass!!!!! Greens weren’t to bad. I have played this course in the past and was always in good shape. Not worth the money and would not go back. Very disappointed.
Awful service
Great course, terrible service inside and outside of the pro shop.
Good Greens, Patchy Fairways.
Greens were in good condition, fairways were not...very patchy. But, pace was great, we (twosome) finished in 2 1/2 hrs.
Nice layout and great for average golfer.
Course is extremely dry — fairways and greens.
Enjoyed playing there and will again.
Unfriendly staff
Reserved a 5pm tee time but upon arrival we were told that they don’t have tee times that late. After that was sorted there were 2 instances of him being a jerk to another group and another paying customer that didn’t have a group. The fairways were horrible and felt like we were playing on rocks and dirt the whole time. The course was just unplayable at times. I’m not sure how this course went downhill fast. Used to be a good cheap course with friendly staff to play a quick round but I won’t be visiting here anymore even though it’s a mile from my house and it’s cheap. Spend your money and time elsewhere.
No grass
No grass. Tees and greens are good fairways are basically bare
