About

Located next to several residential areas, the golf course at the Apache Wells Country Club was designed with seniors in mind. With that consideration, the course is mostly flat to make it an easily walkable. The course was originally only a nine-hole course but in 1966, Milt Coggins designed the back nine holes. Trees line many of the fairways and there is also a housing development that runs alongside the fairways. Water hazards also come into play on several holes. Being so close to a residential area, there are many out-of-bounds stakes on both sides. Apache Wells Country Club is open to the public from mid-April to the end of October.

East Valley Summer Breeze

Played with my usual father and father in law group on Sunday. Course was in prestige conditions, nothing notable to complain about that would hamper your ability to shoot a score. Pat in the pro shop is a local icon!! Love this course and love the value it provides. Plush carts, great conditions including pure as carpet greens, water and ice machines a plenty, bathrooms, $2 beers...what’s not to love!

Really enjoy Apache Wells Golf Course in Mesa, AZ

We really enjoy this course and will return again and again. We like the mix of the length of holes. Clubhouse is friendly and well run. The fairways are in excellent shape for this time of year. Love playing here.

Good value for the money

I enjoyed playing my first round there. It’s not a difficult course. Staff was pleasant, weather was warm but not too hot. Like most courses now, it was quite dry. Greens and fairways ok but dry. The course is well maintained. Pace was good. I’ll go back…

This course is perfect for the average player. Wide open fairways allows for those that spray the ball. Greens were good, nice speed. Not a difficult course, good for working on your game.

36 group shotgun,

The staff was not friendly because we had ride alongs? We booked online and it didn’t say you couldn’t bring a ride along? Shotgun start is hectic and slow play is really bad, several groups of 5 but the guy at the desk PAT, said that our group couldn’t have ride alongs because there would be too many people on the hole? But our ride alongs weren’t playing. And the groups of 5 were horribly slow

Just a fun place to play, Has four par 5's on back with with 3 Par 3'3

On the front 3 Par 3's as well

If you can chip and putt you have a great chance at a low score.
