Hidden gem!
First time playing Wellman. Hadn't even heard of it before a friend recommended it. What a hidden gem. Nice layout, course is in great condition. Greens are fantastic. Not a bad spot to be found. Bunkers well manicured. Super friendly staff!
Well worth the almost hour drive. Will definitely be back!
This is a beautiful place
I got a tee time at 940 the course starter Tom was very friendly and so was the lady at the check in. This course is one of the best courses I have played in a while and it is in excellent condition. Challenging but do your self a favor and play the right tee box and you'll enjoy it more. I will definitely play there again and will be happy to talk it up.
Cart paths
Cart paths are rough. Other than that greens are smooth and fast. Good times

Great course, great value, friendly staff and course is always in great condition
Decent course got ripped off paying though
I paid for a hot deal $18.99 then when I got to the course, they said I owed 13.99. I don’t understand why I had to pay extra when golf now said nothing was owed.
Good greens, great staff, challenging course
Great day at Wellman. Check in was quick and easy. Staff was great. Got us out a little early and paired with a great guy, Jim. His course knowledge helped us from losing balls and finding them. Had a great time. If you want a challenge, definitely play here. Would definitely play again when in town.
Underrated course
Solid course layout. Good conditions. Greens rolled smooth.
Yes the cart paths are beat up.

Great course at incredible value
Love this course. Only downside is the cart paths, but the staff is working to fix that.
A wonderful golf day.
This was my first time at Wellman Club, but it won't be my last. Fairways were in great shape. Green were full, no bare spots. They were a bit slow, could have used a mowing, but we have had a lot of rain. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Even the Lord gave me an overcast day. So the weather was even great. Could not have asked for more from a day at the links.
Great greens!
I recently played a course in Destin, FL that was no where near this green! Play was fast. I'll go again.
