Oakcreek Country Club is situated amongst Sedona's red rock mountains, providing unique scenery throughout. Opened over 40 years ago, it is Sedona's first golf course. The course was a collaboration between Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and his son. It is a classic, player-friendly layout that offers plenty of room for error. There are also several opportunities to recover errant shots incorporated into the design. Despite its forgiving nature, the golf course definitely has its challenges. There are tree-lined fairways with bunkers strategically positioned in the landing areas and elevated greens bordered by large, swirling bunkers. Three lakes also come into play on five holes. Oakcreek Country Club requires accuracy as well as length in order to score well. Next to the clubhouse there are extensive practice facilities including a large driving range with target areas, a practice green, putting and chipping greens, and a short game area with a sand bunker.

FF Draft Weekend

Course layout is beautiful. Greens in excellent shape best I’ve played on in awhile. Weather was perfect made it for a great day. Pace of play was good for the most part. The only negative was the cart needed more options (minor issue). Overall had a great time. We will be back.

Sedona Gem

OCC has a great layout and spectacular red rock views. Conditions of greens and fairways are excellent. Trees and rough can be penal. Bunker quality varies. Practice area needs an update( no flags or greens as targets). Staff is friendly and helpful. Bistro is good and service is excellent. Beverage cart is good but would be nice if there were more snack choices.

Beautiful mountain course

Always plan on playing this course when I'm in Sedona. The pro shop staff is friendly and helpful. Greet you with a smile and welcoming attitude. When we have had a chance to visit with Heather, she has been cordial and very conversant. Love playing this course! Such beautiful views. Very playable for the average golfer. Some challenges but fair.

Always worth the trip!

I live in the Phoenix metropolitan area and go up to Sedona a few times a year to play this course. Each time I am so pleasantly surprised with how beautiful the course is kept.

If you have never made the track to Sedona, check it out. It is certainly good value for the money.

Great Birthday

This course is a great place to spend the day in Sedona. The layout includes doglegs that go left and right, elevation changes and is always in terrific condition. The greens are difficult to read and feature subtle breaks and undulations. It can play tight and you need to be hitting your tee ball accurately to make the most of your day. Love this course!!!
