Oakcreek Country Club is situated amongst Sedona's red rock mountains, providing unique scenery throughout. Opened over 40 years ago, it is Sedona's first golf course. The course was a collaboration between Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and his son. It is a classic, player-friendly layout that offers plenty of room for error. There are also several opportunities to recover errant shots incorporated into the design. Despite its forgiving nature, the golf course definitely has its challenges. There are tree-lined fairways with bunkers strategically positioned in the landing areas and elevated greens bordered by large, swirling bunkers. Three lakes also come into play on five holes. Oakcreek Country Club requires accuracy as well as length in order to score well. Next to the clubhouse there are extensive practice facilities including a large driving range with target areas, a practice green, putting and chipping greens, and a short game area with a sand bunker.

Great Rate For A Great Course

This course is ver forgiving for a duffer like myself. Wide fairways and well kept fringe made finding my ball a breeze. Front desk stalk and the “starter” were very friendly. Gol carts in excellent condition. This round was so fun I rebooked for another round two days later. All grounds were very green and well kept. Greens were s bit slow but certainly manageable. The scenery was absolutely awesome. Thanks GolfNow for the hot deal value

Unreal condition bunkers could use some love but they are better then normal I just live playing here not long but you will hit every club in your bag and don’t miss the fairway

Great Gift

I have been fortunate to play OCC about once a year for the past 4-5 years, COVID not withstanding. As a Prescott AZ resident my family gifted me with a round at OCC and it was indeed a great gift. As a single I was paired with a twosome from Albuquerque, NM and I couldn’t expect a more enjoyable day. The staff at check in were warm and friendly, NOT just mechanical and efficient as is common at a lot of higher end courses. The starter was perfect, again, warm and friendly and carefully explained where the driving range, range balls and practice green were located and what time I should be ready to tee off.
