Oakcreek Country Club

The greens are in great shape for early March at 4,000 feet. Fairways in decent shape except for Hole# 15 where it is all chewed up, verticut as they must be repairing a badly sloped fairway to the right. No grass in the fairway due to verticutting. Fairway needs rebuilding to get rid of the sharp slant to the right so whatever water they put on sinks in instead of running off. Greens were very good, did not make hardly any divots with approach shots. Absolutely GORGEOUS views of the red rocks especially on the back nine.

One of the prettiest courses I’ve ever played, and the staff and other golfers were all very nice. Greens were in great shape, and while some fairways and teeboxes were patchy it is winter. I would definitely go again.

Overall the course is in great shape.the practice facilities are top notch. However, you play here as much for the views as you do the golf. Absolutely beautiful golfing with the Red Rocks dominating the scenery. Only complaint is that the restaurant was not fully open

Love the layout, conditions, staff and value. Need to have tee times 10 minutes apart instead of current 8 minutes. Need a full time ranger too

Played on 2/28 at 3:30. It was the last day of a morning shotgun start which ended just before my tee time, so entire course was open. Intersting layout with well protected greens.

Beautiful background and excellent conditions.

My wife lost her sand wedge there and no one turned it in. So that was a bummer. Other than that it was great and would like to play it again.

This is one of the most beautiful golf courses in northern Arizona. The course is well kept with a very convenient driving range and putting green.

Seems like many AZ courses have no concept of pace of play and certainly don't enforce anything Oak creek certainly falls into this category

Holes 1-11 are basic golf holes 12-18 are very difficult with sand completely surrounding the greens on several holes

Course was in excellent condition and the greens were fast. .

Pace of play certainly detracted from an otherwise pleasant golf experience

Interesting Robert Trent Jones layout — lots of doglegs, treed and well bunkered. Played in a shotgun start to avoid frost delays in February, so the tee sheet was packed and pace slow play probably slower than normal. Fabulous red rock views and the staff and members could not have been more accommodating. All in all, a great round of golf!

It's a very enjoyable round. This course is well maintained , very playable with great views.

We are a bunch of girls from New Hampshire visiting Sedona for the first time. The group at Oak Creek were the most welcoming and friendly bunch, the course was in great shape and the views were outstanding! Due to the unusually cold weather this time of year, they were dealing with some early frost issues, so we went out in a shotgun on different holes. We never had anyone pushing us and we weren't pushing the groups in front of us - it was basically like we had the course to ourselves. I would highly recommend this course to anyone visiting this area - you won't regret it!

First time playing this course and loved it! Shotgun start at 11am; was a little skeptical when they announced that there would be two groups on every hole…anticipating a 5 hour plus round….finished in 4 hours. Condition was very good; greens were firm but not tricked up. We liked the dog legs, nice, interesting features. The views of the red rocks were amazing and throughout at least 12 holes. Would definitely recommended!
