Willowcreek Golf Course
About
Willowcreek Golf Course in Sun City has one regulation length 18-hole course, the Willowcreek Course, as well as one executive length course, the Willowbrook Course. The traditional layout of the Willowcreek Course features three lakes that form water hazards that come into play on four holes. The course is relatively flat but there are some minor rolling hills that cause uneven lies. The fairways and greens are consistently in good condition on both courses and they are both considered very user-friendly. The Willowcreek Golf Course facility used to be private but it is now open to the public.

Typical Sun City Course
Greens/fairways in great condition. Cart path only was not really an issue. Front 9 layout not overly challenging with pretty straight forward holes. Back 9 more interesting and more aesthetic.
Course was in great shape
As summer comes to an end and over seeding is right around the corner the course was in great shape, plush fairways thick rough and the greens putted true. As always the staff was great, unfortunately the restaurant was closed by the time we finished. We played in 3 1/2 hours.
No Frills Sun City Course.
Pretty much you're average no frills Sun City course. Staff at this particular course are not golf professionals, so don't expect that, typical SC retiree behind the counters.
Course itself is in decent shape for the summer. Pace of play for the round was 2.25 hours, one of the advantages of the SC courses during the summer, usually always wide open.
Good place to go and work on your game during a summer afternoon.
Sun City Willowcreek
The greens had been punched and sanded, was not notified about this by Golf Now. I found out when I checked in and the round was most unpleasant.
Greens Recently Punched
Golf Now did not have this annotated. Practice facilities are great with driving range, and separate chipping and putting greens. Staff was great, of course no beverage cart. Course with the exception of the greens were in great shape. Will play again once greens fill in.
Greens Just Sanded
According to the course Golfnow was made aware of the sanded greens but no mention of that fact was listed on the website when booking, greens were horrible.
3 or 4 fives ones in a row.
This course is my favorite in Sun City. Fairways are wide and well maintained. The grass is green from either the recent rains or it has been over seeded and watered. Thank goodness we didn't catch up to the 3 or 4 fivesomes that were allowed to play back to back until the last 4 or 5 holes.
Course is in good shape
Fun course to play, good fairways and semi fast greens.
Saturday June 27 - Morning 18 Review
I booked on Golfnow.com.
The course looked great and the staff was friendly.
There was no cart girl and the prices in the snack bar were pretty outrageous. A HALF of Sandwich was like $3
Willowcreek should follow suite from the Augusta National and keep sandwiches, chips and drinks to a bare minimum.
I will play again, but will pack a lunch.
Very Nice Open Course
A good course for those who like fewer hazards and don't like to lose balls. Staff in the shop are great but one ranger got pretty sarcastic because I had the right two wheels of the cart just off the path in the proximity of a green. He was either a dope or just having a bad day.
Great Golf Day !!
Had a great experience at this course. Staff was helpful, course is in great condition, pace was spot on.
I am very happy I selected this course. I will definitely play this course again.
Great Midlevel course. Well maintained
- Well maintained -fun course -great course for Midlevel players and beginners alike - best course in Sun City area. -price to experience rating is easily a 5.
Try the course you won't be disappointed.
good day
all went fairly well BUT had to wait fairly long times between holes.. said course was busy.. with lots of peeps ! greens in good shape / fairways as well.
Friendly Staff
Course a great challenge for righthander who pushes or slices balls, as water comes into play on many holes on that side.
Slow Play
Many 5 player groups made for a 4:40 hr round on Saturday afternoon, but it is Suncity so most residents have no need to rush, but other players that drive to this location it makes for a long day
Do not advance to the right
Due to a concrete water canal that extends the length of the golf course, if you have a slice, or fade, to the right, you will be constantly challenged to prevent fishing balls out of the stream. Almost all the holes have to be played to the left since the slope of the course bears to the right. The greens are in excellent shape and the location of the pins are challenging. Very few of the greens are flat so almost every lie will test your ability to deduce the correct arc and speed of the putt.
Slow course
Great challenging course, but the pace of play is really slow.
Fun course to play
This was a fun course to play and was in good condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
