Nice long executive
I didn’t realize this was the executive course at this club when I booked. This is a nice little course for an executive. Good challenging distances to exercise your short game. A couple to drive for.
Great play
This was not the first time I played and hopefully not the last. It was a pleasure to play there
Very nice executive course.
Don’t let the yardage fool you. This is a challenge. Undulating greens and elevation changes as well as well placed hazards. Greens were very nice as well as tee boxes. My only complaint was with a few pin placements on some extreme slopes. I’ll definitely be back.
Short Course
Loved this course! It was challenging and it was in great condition!
It’s a great course if you’re looking for something between a regular length course and an executive course.
It was great until it wasn’t
Check-in:
- The ladies working the counter and inside were great and answered all questions. They pointed out that the driving range was closed but putting and chipping were open. Kind of a bummer but we had played 9 holes in the morning so we were warm.
Course:
- Gorgeous and a nice deal. I think it’s the third where it’s an elevated green which was gorgeous. Really aggressive multi tiered greens make for some spicy finishes.
The locals:
- As we were heading out for our round, an older “gentleman,” with his personal cart decked out in Univ. of Utah…everything, along with his drinking buddies, park away from the bar and others hanging out in the area very clearly marked rental cart parking only. We were heading out so figured they might be getting a drink and then driving home.
After our 18 holes, “Utah,” and friends were sloshed, and dropping every expletive under the sun, We turned in our cart and I went in to check out. The lady inside asked us to move our cart to the corral in the back via the PA. My wife offered, and Utah, and crew started to chirp. Not a big deal, but as they started to turn to my wife, she made it clear it would be advised of them to leave her alone.
Witnessing this, and knowing she can handle herself quite well, I explained their behavior to the office and you can regrettably tell she was embarrassed for the facility. Apparently this is not me behavior for Utah and crew, so if you come, do so in the morning to avoid the old guys tying one on due to an apparent unhappy home life.
Why I did not get to use my credit money ?
I made tee time on Golf Now but I had to pay at the golf course and there was only a fee charge deducted from my credit. Why is that ?
Great value
Afternoon golfers, be advised, snack shop closes at 1:00 PM for “summer hours” - not sure what date it changes. Wish I knew in advance!
Perfect Summer Course
Best place to get in a quick round that you can use all your clubs.
Disappointing Day on the Course
My second time playing this course. It was a hot day so not many playing which allowed for a three hour round...much appreciated. The course itself was in average shape...fairways with some burnt out spots and the greens were not in good shape. They had punched the greens some time ago and they had not recovered...very dry and lots of punch marks, bare spots and in need of water. It was pretty much get on the green and take your two putts and move on...would have been nice to have know this before paying to play. There were water/restrooms on both 9s and the water was cold. Will give this another try later this year and hope the conditions have improved, but for now can't recommend this course for playing.
