Union Hills Golf & Country Club
About
The golf course at the Union Hills Country Club is a championship course with a traditional layout. The course has been named one of the Top Ten Private Courses in Arizona. The design features four lakes and two winding creeks that create water hazards that come into play on a few holes. There are also several sand bunkers present. Some of the golf course's greens are elevated and the fairways are average sized in width. The signature hole is the par-4 14th hole, which requires a carry over water. Union Hills Country Club also has a putting green and full driving range for golfers to use.

Play again
Beautiful Course. Well maintained. Nice course for the average player. They had a nice mix of longer holes and mid length holes with a few short holes mixed in. Would play here again
Solid Course
A steal for the price. The guys I played with payed $60. My Golf Now rate was under $50. Greens, boxes, and fairways in good shape and traps around the greens were fine. Friendly staff, grass range, and here’s a shout out to the Marshall who did his best to keep the 30-something guys in front of us with hall passes from family obligations moving along. Great day and would play here again.
Great staff and value for your money
Great pace of play, greens were in good shape and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend this course as it was a great value for the money.
Good course to play
I have played here several times in previous years. A good challenge with excellent green complexes. Greens have a lot of slopes in them. Greens in good condition. Roughs and areas just off the course pretty bad. Course has gone downhill in last few years.
Yesterday no beverage cart, even though almost 100. At the turn about 4 pro shop and all services locked up. Pretty sparse but for 50 bucks?
Typical
Union “Hill”.is a typical Sun City course with a flat layout. The greens a platter like with considerable slope from back to front. Yet very puttabke. It has some unique tee box placement especially from the tips.
Good and bad
The course condition and hole routing is an enjoyable experience. In it’s good years it was a good test. The clubhouse facility is ready to be demolished. A bright spot after golf was a delicious hamburger at the walkup grill. This looks like a golf club on life support,. I hope it will be saved because the course itself is a good experience.
Very playable course
I like the layout and features of the course itself. A few greens were a little rough. The clubhouse and grounds are in need of serious upgrades, but that does not affect the course itself.
It was "Rough"
Fairways were on point. Definitely carries the potential for being a great course but the greens and the rough we subpar at best. If you inch off the fairway at all you are greated with mud and weeds and not an ounce of grass, no first or second cut or any cut at all. The greens seemed to be nice as far as undulation and layouts go, but smothered with disease riddled grass and over-watered wear that left for washboard like conditions in areas throughout every green. If they managed better upkeep of both the rough areas by planting and maintaining grasses of any kind and rebuild the grasses on the greens, I would consider playing here again.
